I had tried other mats but cat litter was constantly being drug out of the laundry room all down the hall. These mats are catching 99% of the litter now and they are a lot softer to stand on when I'm ironing!

I should have checked the measurements better, I would have ordered the xlarge! But keeping it to lay over part of the old litter catcher. Ordered another for a different litter box in the xlarge size. I still have litter scatter, but cats don't always leap over it like the other mat!

I absolutely love these mats, they’re soft, pretty, and they’re excellent at trapping litter. They’re also very durable, I’ve washed these in the washing machine many many times, and they’re still looking brand new, no peeling or breaking apart at all. I set the machine to warm water (not hot), and then I hang them over the shower curtain rod to dry. I don’t use the drier, there’s no need because they dry within less than a day when hanged over the curtain rod. I have a cat who had digestive problems so she started going on the carpet for number 2. Her digestive issues seem to be resolved, but now she’s left with the habit of going on carpets. I place a few of these mats around and she goes on them instead of my large carpets. Then I just wash the mat in the washing machine each time (it’s about once a day). Saves me a lot of work since I don’t have to spot clean my carpets this way. My only complaint is that I wish they made these mats in bigger sizes as well.

This is top notch! I’ve been through so many different ways of trying to manage the spread of litter and this is perfect. It doesn’t look like a litter mat at all, and it’s very soft underfoot to use it as a regular bathmat in my bathroom that just happens to catch all of the litter. I got the largest size so there’s no way the cat can avoid walking on it and as soon as he does the litter comes off of his feet and goes deep into the carpet so that you can’t even see that it’s there, which is a nice feature because it always looks good even when it’s holding lots of litter. Even on the lighter color, you can’t see the gray litter. I was finding litter all over my house. I tried changing brands and types of litter and various mats and litter box types but nothing worked. I was concerned about the cat eating the litter when cleaning his paws after. I have no more concerns. The quality is amazing. It’s microfiber so it’s very easy to clean. The backing keeps it from sliding all around on my floor even when I close the door over it. I can vacuum it without it lifting up or sliding around. Because it’s so great at collecting litter, I do recommend shaking it out after vacuuming or flipping it over to get all of the litter out. The litter does come out of it much more easily than those other type of litter mats that it gets stuck in it and it’s almost impossible to clean it out. It’s pretty and would make a great carpet for other uses such as a doormat, floormat in your kitchen by the sink, and I’m using it like I said as a bathmat. I do wish it would come in more colors. I chose beige but it’s a little bit more yellow than I hoped for but the bottom line is it’s doing what I need it to do and it’s doing it very well. I would definitely recommend this, and already have, to multiple people. I can’t say enough good things about it. It arrived fresh, new, clean and good packaging and very quickly. As always I have a problem with Amazon deliveries but that’s not the fault of the seller and the product is perfect.

First of all I’m really happy with this purchase mostly because it is a SIGNIFICANT lower price point alternative compared to the far more expensive name brand cat mat with a similar design. This mat literally does the same thing, available in a better color, and at a better price point.The mat works well, and I love the fact that it is machine washable. Our kitty has gastrointestinal lymphoma, and so his stools vary in solidity and he can get the area messy. I needed a mat I could clean easily, as well as get litter out easily and this ticks both boxes. It’s as easy as shaking it out either outside, or onto the tile and vacuuming it up nice and easy.It’s soft for his little paws, and it’s held up really well so far to him “wiping his paws” after he uses the litter box. Our previous mat was a foam/rubber one with a litter catch pocket at the bottom and it was shredded in a few months.I’m not sure if it does any better catching the litter from his paws to decrease tracking, but the other good things outweigh that. We’ve learned to live with the fact that if you have a cat, you’re probably going to have some tracked litter in the house.

Pros:- Does a great job at catching litter when a cat jumps out of the box--- while not perfect, it has reduced the problem extremely well.- Really comfortable under feet--- I was using some sort of rubber mat before- this mat just feels like a super thick bath mat. It looks nicer too.- Is Machine WashableCons:- Is hard to vacuum- even at the lowest setting my vacuum just lifts up the mat unless I'm using boxes and my feet to weight it down at the corners. It also catches litter so well that my vacuum just can't get it all out. Inevitably you will need to just pick up the mat at one point and just let the litter fall outside/in a trashcan, or on the floor to vacuum up. Its really important to make sure all the litter has dropped from the mat before machine washing it.- I've only put this in the washing machine a few times after "accidents," and it does work- but the rubber underside is pretty heavy when wet and you need to make sure to balance the load or your machine will be angry at you. If you have a smaller/weaker/older washing machine it might not be able to handle this.I still am leaving this at 5 stars even with the cons because its still is the best cat mat we've found over the years. My husband even wants me to get a second one just to use as an actual bath mat as he can't believe the cats have a higher luxury feeling mat than we have!

I tried one of these mats in hopes of holding back more litter on my cats' paws as they leave the gentlemen's washroom and I've got to say, it works better than any of the other variety of mats I've tried over the years. It's a bit light and bathmat-ish but - it works! I got a second one -

First up, it looks like the kind of bath mat your granny would’ve had, all long shag pile and velvety soft. It’s really comfy to walk on and seems very absorbent, in case you decide to nab it for your shower.Secondly, it washes very well even in cold water and cleans up perfectly (ours gets quite mucky after it has rained, because it’s just inside our furbabies’ cat flap). It also dries in a few hours, even indoors, even when it isn’t too warm.Thirdly, my kittens initially didn’t want to step on it, they acted as if it was mined in fact, but after a few months, during which we put it away and then took it back out again (ha, gotcha) they didn’t seem to mind it any more.Ours is also in front of one of our litter trays and yes, it does trap any litter that the girls manage to shake off their paws as they exit the tray.The deep pile is genius because the litter sort of falls between the strands and stays there.I just shake it out of the back door, or bung it in the machine.No quality issues, and the latex backing is very good at being non slip.Buy it!

I've tried those mats that claim to trap litter in a dual layer construction but I didn't like those at all (not at all easy to pour litter out). Not only is this mat nicer looking and softer on my cat's feet, but it's way better at trapping litter. Easy to toss the trapped litter, just gently shake over the litter box. Also washes up great in cold water in the machine. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I wish it was 10 cm wider - 80x60cm (I got the 80x50cm mat which I lay the long way out from the box. My cat tends to shake his feet to the left and right upon exiting his box, which is actually pretty funny to see but a bit of litter goes either side of the mat and if I position the other way it's not quite long enough). Even so, it's the best mat I've found.

Amazing! I used to use 3 regular matts to try to maintain the litter in my studio flat (litter in bathroom) but it was everywhere! Changed my life it is so easy to maintain which is important for me. I was away for 2 nights, neighbour checked in but can't change litter due to her being pregnant. Came back to very minimal litter in the main room and the matt had caught loads! Amazing. My bathroom is quite a small one so litter was everywhere and it was hard to find the time to clean the bad matts and the floor and there was a major issue with me getting out the shower if she had used the tray as it would get stuck to my feet but it's all sorted now!

We bought one over a year ago and loved it so much we bought a second smaller one as soon as it came back in stock for travelling or to use when we’re washing the first.Easy to vacuum litter from the mat. It doesn’t hold ANY smell and it’s so super soft on his paws. Cat absolutely loves it. We won’t use any other litter mat ever again and over the moon I never have to deal with the annoying cleaning process with the plastic ones!!Worth every cent, best thing you’ll buy this year.

My cat is nearly 18 and her aim is not as good as it could be. There is no way that she will go outside in the snow to do what she needs to do so her litter tray is always available. This mat has saved me clearing up soggy, stinky newspaper and is brilliant at catching and absorbing overspills. It washes well, I wish it could be tumble dried but it does dry reasonably quickly.
