Works as advertised
I bought this in order to adapt a Sigma 18-35mm with a Nikon mount to a RF on a Red Komodo. It worked. There is no way to know exactly what F-Stop is on the lens but it does throttle the iris open to close.

This one works with my Nikon FE F mount lenses.
I tried another adapter that was just listed as the Nikkor lens F mount, and although that went on my Canon R7 it would not secure the Nikon lens. Perplexed I did some more research and discovered that my Nikon FE taking the F mount had another type and that was the F Mount G type which is what this one is, AND IT WORKED. It drops right into my RF Mount Canon R7 securely, and does the same to adapt my Nikon lens. My Nikon was from ages ago, it is a 35mm camera that uses film.Knowing that the Canon R7 is a crop sensor, having the maximum amount of light is helpful, and that is what the 1.4 gives me. I looked up what the 50mm Canon 1.2 lens cost and it was $2300. I know my 1.4 is not the same as 1.2 but it is close. The additional light is wonderful. So, if you are struggling to have your old Nikon lenses fit on your Canon R7 with the RF mount for that matter, this is the adapter to get. Of course the autofocus and aperture needs to be adjusted manually with this adapter, but what they hey saving $2300 to use good old faithful 1.4 is more than worth it.
