Advertisement is for the "mountain safari " and I was shipped the "new safari" these are completely different boots. Still a quality boot but not what was advertised.

Came from wearing Nick's/JKs/White's style boots and these are night and day difference. Don't get me wrong those are still great quality boots but the Kenetreks are just lighter and have no break in period. They're great for coming back down the hill and they're more soft soled so I can feel the difference in my knees and ankles. You'll feel the hike up in your calfs though because you have to lock your ankle in but it's a small trade off. Take care of your feet, they make your money.
