Not sure what every one else is having problems with but mine works great! Color is spot on to my other flat dark earth items and it mounted just fine. It came with an extra set of top clamps that are smooth. I installed them just to see what it looked like and the screw holes didn't quite line up, but it still worked. I liked the looks of the tactical tops better. As long as you don't over torque the screws or use the wrong allen wrench size, you shouldn't have any issues. I mounted a 4-18x50 scope 30mm/ 1" tube. Works great and I would recomend to others for sure.

Really Like this mount. Excellent quality!! It is a little bright for the earth color to match a Flat Dark earth look but overall a great item to buy if you are going with a FDE and black build for any setup.

The color does not match the other FDE components of my rifle. The painted finish had more the one chips it the paint. The thread and pitch of the screws doesn’t seem to match the threaded portion of the base. Poor quality control.

Great FDE scope mount for the money

Second star because it is cheap. Upon installation of my scope, the threads in one of the holes completely stripped as I was screwing in (21 in/lbs, didn't over torque it) one of the set screws. However, having 3 on each side did manage to mitigate some of the risk of things getting out of whack with the scope and it seems to be holding.Most of my rifle is dressed in FDE furniture/accessories. The color of this mount is noticeably lighter than everything else on the gun. I would describe it as more of a Desert Tan color than Flat Dark Earth.
