- The SOFTT-W Gen 4 Tourniquet uses a 5.5 in. aluminum alloy Windlass mechanism that eases the process of securing the windlass into the clip and tri-ring, increasing the effectiveness of the dual retention system. Tactical Medical Solutions' SOFTT-W Tourniquet uses a Quick-Compression Buckle that allows for smoother buckle manipulation due to its rounded edges. This also allows for easier one-handed application and overall faster application time. TacMed's 4th Generation tourniquet also features reinforced material, and the new Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip. The TRAC assists in applications by providing a temporary control point to hold the windlass while engaging the tri-ring, resulting in faster application times and doubling the security of the device in combination with the tri-ring during patient movements. A 1.5 in. TQ strap provides wider compression than most tourniquets designed for first aid in combat applications. Made in USA. Berry Amendment Compliant. Cannot be shipped internationally.
