This clogs more easily than regular activated carbon. And if it's because it does it's job better than others, then that's bs too. I have gotten clearer water using a foam filter than this. As for phosphate, well my test kits say it also does nothing. Have gotten better and faster results with weekly water changes...

This is the real deal. I use in a reactor and get great results. My only issue is it last at the most 3 weeks not 3 or 4 months as it says on the container

I was a bit disappointed. First, it does not come in a bag like chemipure or purigen does, second, I didn't get crystal clear water like I do when I use either of the other two products.

After battling major algae in my freshwater tank for a couple of months, I am EXTREMELY happy I found this product! All of my tank maintenance and plant products are by Seachem and for a good reason! Seachem products work. My plants were covered in algae, and after every water change the algae would cover the glass after 3 days again, it was just terrible. It's been 2 weeks since I placed this product in my filter and I no longer have ANY algae growth anywhere! I'm just amazed. My tank looks gorgeous. 5 stars!

A really good product

Worked nicely. I found out that my tap water had a spike of phosphate and made a lot of algea. This helped me return my tank to normal.
