An update on my original 4* rating. It has taken a while to make the best of this set, though that's because it takes time to work out how to use scissors in reverse in a mirror. That's a human limitation, not of the scissors. My message to all is: persevere. The set is very good.I am now able to achieve as good a cut as I had from a barber at next to no cost in time or money. I keep my hair short and always have - about 1 -2 inches give or take a bit. My wife trims up where I can't see, at the back and to some extent round the ears, but everything else I do. No, I don't make a perfect job of it but one that's good enough not to look odd or in need of help form a competent adult or hairdresser.Go for it. It really isn't difficult if you don't rush. For a short cut use the depth of your fingers as a guide to cut over for everywhere but the fringe, sideburns and close by. You'll get the hang of it, and sharp scissors help a lot. Really!

Good value, ease of use even for a left handed person

I like the feel of the scissors when holding and cutting. They are really sharp, as you will need for cutting hair. I also like the stylish dark colour of the sissors. It comes in a nice wallet to store and keep them safe. And at a good price for the whole set. I am well pleased that i went for this product. Thanks.

Turned up with broken stitching!!

Pretty pleased with this set. Managed to cut two heads of hair with no issues. The straight edge scissors were very sharp and when I got bored and started cutting bigger sections, it coped with this no problem. It was more expensive than others but for me I feel it was worth it and good value for the product. I bought a cheaper set weeks before this one which was delivered the next day, I'm still waiting for the original set I ordered...

The scissors are really well made with sharp blades and strong metal used in their design. I really like the black colour of the scissors. The extra pieces in this kit are fairly basic. Good value overall.
