I am a ham radio operator and use this to split my one antenna for my low power HF transceiver and SDRPlay. Also, I use a smart antenna switch before the splitter which grounds the receive side when transmitting.This device works well in the HF bands and I am assuming in the VHF/UHF bands as well. Since I am using low power, all connectors now use SMA connectors and provide me with better cable management due to their size.The product came fast and I love Amazon Prime.

This is not a power splitter it's just a splitter it divides you're one signal coming in 2 two signals which means you could lose some signal strength

This is a good value for a power divider/combiner with a case and connectors. -- especially given the power rating. I bought 2 of these, and I did all my testing with them at 5.8Ghz. The losses were very close to the 5.5 dB stated in the description. I gave this a 4-star rating only because I had a slight frequency difference between the two ports when used as a splitter. This error was not given in the description. It was sufficient enough that I could not use them for FMCW transceivers, however, they should be perfectly fine for many other applications. I'll keep these as test assets, but they could be used in production systems.
