Gyro Ball Forearm Exerciser Wrist Exercises Wrist Ball Hand Exerciser

I gave this to a 40 something year-old male as a gift and he loved it. Not only did he love it, the entire family did too and more expensive gifts were neglected while everyone fought over who would play with this. It's rugged and tough and takes a little practice to get going but it's so much fun once you do and it is great exercise for the wrists and forearms. My only gripe is that it requires string to get it going. You have to feed string into the channel and pull fast to get it spinning. I have seen models that don't have this and you get it moving through wrist motion. I guess that this makes it easier to start out. Wondering if with some practice the string becomes unnecessary.
