Using a beauty sponge is the ONLY way I will put on my base foundation, some times for my highlighter, and I love it for touching up AFTER I do my eyeshadow, especially if I use glitter pigments!Using a kabuki brush, not so much, even the soft brushes are great but for base foundation, I hate HATE basically throwing away a ton of product with a brush. With a sponge I get less waste, less pull, and honestly, it's faster with a sponge.As I get up in my age the last thing that I want is anything to mess with the natural elasticity of my skin!I love that the cleaning of sponges is so perfectly simple. All you have to do is add a dab of water onto the sponge that is stained, and work soap into the area. I use a mild soap for my daily cleaning of the sponge, and honestly, using Dawn is soooo easy to use and it JUST takes a drop. And then just pressing in the dirty area and work out all of the product from the sponge. It doesn't take much, it's super fast to do and is great and easy to keep clean and hygienic for your face. Then you just rinse it with clean water, and squeezing the sponge at the same time to get out all of the stuff that went into the sponge.Because this beauty blending sponges are latex free, you can reuse them a million times without them breaking, or cracking, because they are very professionally made, with a perfect density, the most perfect design ever, and just all around quality! I would compare this to the ridiculously expensive name brand one, there is NO difference in these 2, and I will NEVER buy another sponge from Sephora for $20 when this one is not even $2!!!Promotional or discounted product provided to review.

I have wanted to try using a beauty blender sponge for make up application for quite a while now! I have heard so much about them, and have seen tutorials on youtube and facebook showing what a difference that they can make. The make-up blender should be held under water and squeezed about ten times to make sure that it has soaked enough water in, and it should pretty much double in size if not more. I love that this particular sponge has a great smaller pointed time (it's not sharp or anything so do not worry!), but makes it easy to get your foundation into the small crevices and places on your face where you may not normally be able to easily. Applying foundation under your eyes, and around your nose has never been easier! If you have a yet to try one of these- this is a GREAT tool- very soft- great quality- and great price!

Horrible.... so it came in the mail super early which made me happy but when I wet it to use it ... it stayed the same size and was super hard .... then I used it and it soaked up all my makeup and actually took my old makeup off of my face. I wouldn't even pay a dollar for this if I knew .... I expected it not to be as good as a beauty blender but I did expect it to work better with all the good reviews .... but I swear those had to be fake reviews I will not buy this again from this buyer

This is my first "beauty blender"/"sponge applicator". I have never used one before so I read other reviews and such. After holding mine under water for several minutes it did not expand. However, I thought it applied/blended my make-up well. I saw a review that someone else's pretty much disintegrated, my sponge was just fine. I did not fall apart or leave anything on my face and it did not have any sort of unpleasant smell to it. I'm happy with it but I've never used one before so I believe it works fine. I gave 3 stars because I am unsure of how it is supposed to be so I wanted to give a sort of 50/50 rate. :)

Got here sooner than anticipated, although it still took a while, so if you're needing this product quick, I wouldn't recommended. I expected a wait, so was pleased when it came early. It is nice and soft, does not expand when wet, but it supple and smooth. I imagine that it will disintegrate quicker than an actual high quality BeautyBlender but for the price, you could order more than 20 of these for the price of one of the brand name. It is smaller than your typical blender, but that doesn't bother me. No complains. For the price, you can't complain, unless it came in the box shredded or you got a rock in the box instead of the sponge. Good deal!

I've been using this product for a few weeks and overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. I was originally looking for a dupe for the original beauty blender with good quality but in the color black. This was the cheapest version of a black "beauty blender". The product came approximately 2 weeks early, and I live in the USA. A lot of products coming in from China often take a lengthy period of time, however, the delivery of this sponge was exceptional and well packaged. (How awful can you pack a small beauty sponge?) The material is slightly sturdier than the original beauty blender when dry, may also be described as "rubbery". When wet, the product somewhat expands and becomes a bit softer but still carries that rubbery feeling. All in all the product gets the job done and applies the makeup smoothly without eating up all of the foundation product. The material may be cheaper than that of the original beauty blender, but for 1.00$ this product is well worth it, especially with delivery time. It's also a bit larger than an eos lip balm. The product is super cute despite being a cheaper dupe and offers a clean and sleek appearance to my makeup vanity area.
