This ia very well made tamper at a reasonable price.The diameter is spot on (50.99mm on my caliper)The threads where the handle screws to the base are very well machined.It's easy to clean.Looks good.It's very heavy and it works mostly with it's own weight.It comes with a silicone mat to rest on.Overall an excellent addition to my espresso set both in terms of quality and value for money.

I've been using a plastic DeLonghi that came with my coffee machine. Quite useful because it had a tamper on one end a sppon measure on the other.I decided to treat myself to some quality kit instead.This comes preented and packed in a small cardboard box, and would make a lovely present to a coffee lover. It comes in two pieces - the handle and the tamper, and it screws together perfectly for a tight fit.It's solid and heavy - a quality item.Included is also a silocone tamper mat to protect the plastic nibs at the bottom of the filter holder when you're tamping down. I expected this to be soft and not much use - but I was surprised. It's solid and strong and a perfect place to stand your tamper in between uses as well as protecting your filter holder's plastic nibs.Very pleased with this set. It will last many years and is a pleasure to use. Would happily buy as a gift.I hope you found my review helpful.

Nicely presented. Bought as a present so can't comment much as havent used it. But it seems well made, sturdy and comes with a small mat. Nice addition to coffee station

Great and easy to use

Just very slightly undersized for my 50mm La Pavoni basket (recommended 51.7mm by many) but for the price it’s excellent value. Easy to clean and well weighted. Only down side is the top of the handle can hurt palm when pressed hard and screw joint isn’t sealed to prevent dirt build up on threads. Regular stripping and cleaning is essential. Material seems solid enough to avoid scratches building up on face surface which needs to remain polished.

I love the weight of this thing, it feels like a hand is already pressing it down before I initiate any pressure on the grounds. I feel it gives a good even compression.

Lo utilizzo da mesi e non ho riscontrato nessun difetto e nessuna comparsa di ruggine, l'unica nota negativa è che rimane una patina di caffè macinato sotto, ma forse è imputabile anche al macinacaffè in acciaio e non in ceramica.

Habe mich aufgrund der kompletten Edelstahlverarbeitung für diesen Tamper entschieden. Er kommt in einer netten Verpackung und man schraubt ihn einfach zusammen. Die ersten Einsätze sind sehr zufriedenstellend und er hat ein gutes Eigengewicht. Für meinen Einsatz vollkommen geeignet.
