From Far Away, Vol. 14

This is one of the best vintage shoujo series. Shame it isn't longer, or more widely known! Loveable cast of characters (even the bad guys have reasons,) great friendships, hope and friendship overcoming adversity. None of the shady stuff like "suicide is sosoooooo romantic!" or "15 years old is TOTALLY old enough to maaaaarry" you sometimes see in shoujo. This is one of the few in my massive collection I'd let my kids read. Worth a buy! I regret not getting into it when it was newly translated and people (other than me) were still reading it.

I love these books. They are a beautiful representation of the nature of good and evil and how much choice plays a role in the good and bad that happens to us and that we do. Very heart warming read.

This series is incredible! I purchased the entire series as it was released in 2013, and still own it in 2022, and still reread it every year or so because it really is absolutely wonderful! :D I buy and sell manga all the time and have sold manga/anime on Ebay for over 20 years, but this series I WOULD NEVER SELL it's that good. Its a wonderful adventure series with romance, interesting characters, strange worlds, and all the good stuff, all in one of the cleanest manga I've ever seen. None of the angst that seems to exist in other series I've seen, no weirdness like horror or suicide or anything like that. You can easily let a pre-teen or a 10 year old read it with no worries, and it still interests a 50 year old, like me. I'll never part with my books (unless I'm dead ;p), it's just that good. If you ever see 2 and 1 or 3 star reviews, those people have let the magic of the series bypass what it is, because its truly deserving of the 5 star reviews it receives. Not the best known series out there, but definitely check out what makes it different!

This is a truly magical story full of fun and excitement! It has everything from comedy to romance; an amazing adventure for young and old to enjoy.

I love the series and it showed up on time and in great condition. No complaints because the series takes so long to find that individual books.

I couldn't stop rereading it!

This is a great book because it is the last one in the series and the ending is sooo perfect. I hope you like this book as much as I did.
