From Far Away, Vol. 13

Honestly the best manga I have ever read, this about a loner type warrior who is predestined to become the awakened fearsome sky-demon. This warrior opposes this fact, and sets out to seek and kill the one called 'the awakening' to prevent him from becoming this evil entity. As the warrior reached the place where the awakening is to appear so that he may destroy it, he discoveres that this 'awakening' is nothing more than a confused, frightened girl that was ripped from her home world and brought to his own. Instead of killing her, he soon becomes protective of her while trying to keep their identities from everyone, including the girl (who is unaware of her destiny), and all of the evil rulers bent on finding the sky-demon and the awakening to access their power to rule the world and bring about the dark apocalypse.

This series is just wonderful and I'm pretty sure you started with vol.1if you're thinking of buying vo.13 but if not I say "Start!". This light hearted romanceadventure of a Earth girl being sucked into a strange land and meeting herfuture destruction and future love interest will become part of your scrapbookfor favorite adventure/fantasy/love mangas in my opinion.

This was an awesome buy. I don't usually have the money to afford lots of manga titles, but I have the whole series of this one. The heroine isn't overshadowed by the hero which is my favorite type of shoujo. Anyway, I'd recommend this to anyone. I even recommended it to my husband, who's too much of a 'man' to read this sort of thing anyway.

I love the series and it showed up on time and in great condition. No complaints because the series takes so long to find that individual books.

I got this for my sister as a present and she absolutely loves it. Now her collection is finally complete.

I do not regret paying $43 for it! It was TOTALLY worth it!

Excellent story and a great series

Thank you for re publishing this book! I thought that i would never complete my collection. This is still one of my favourite top 3 shoujo manga with strong heroine. Strong and not violent.

I can't believe I'm almost done with this series. I wasn't even sure that I could get all the volumes and here I'm finishing it...I'm so happy about this series. I'm still not sure that Hikawa-sensei is that good at drawing but sure she's good at creating good and interesting plot with active female main protagonist.This volume tells about the last siege. The villain search for Noriko because he wants to have the kind of power she can give to Izark out of love. But since the villain doesn't know love, he won't be able to gain such power.I'm also glad because all the old secondary characters are back in action.Only one volume to go. SIGH!
