Book print quality was good. Enjoyed the old stories again. The brief bios about the various artistes is a nice touch.The contemporary stories loaded with political correctness, illustrations aided by computers, gradient colouring etc are no match for the older stories, hand-drawn illustrations and the colouring of the old Tinkle. Hopefully, children who like to hold and read real physical comics in their hands are able to appreciate this.

Tinkle Origins 10 volume set is out of print & Amar Chitra Katha has no plans of going in for a reprint. The currently offered version is a reprint by Repro books on demand & Repro Books. I received vol.7 yesterday. Font size has been increased by Repro, hence more pages & a thicker book. The color print is garish like the Bollywood color movies of the 1970's-1980's. Overall, a negative appeal. If possible whenever there is a choice available on Amazon, select the version printed by Amar Chitra Katha, which has the original font & subtle colors of the 1980's versions of Tinkle comics.

Very bad binding- all the pages are coming out. I have all the volumes of Tinkle Origins- none have this issue. Not worth buying this product from this seller. Avoid.
