Suzuki, 88-Key Digital Pianos-Home (MDG-400 bl)

We had a Suzuki grand like this from 1995, which we moved with us 7 times over the years, as it was an integral part of our lives - singing, playing, family time, etc. We loved the karaoke microphone feature it had. It was easy to use, and layer, record, etc. Upon our last move 2 months ago, the people that bought our house asked if they could purchase the piano (which was beginning to show some signs of wear - clunky keys from worn felt, scratches, wobbly, etc from moving) So when they offered us $1500 for it, I realized I didn't need to add but $1200 to get a new one, so we took the money and immediately ordered the new Suzuki piano. Same size, a little heavier, stronger, more stable, better pedals, etc. The sound is amazing, as it has a couple more speakers. NOw the negative. I can't figure out how to use the thing. I can't figure out layering, mixing, etc. The book is no help. I'm a person that can figure stuff out, and after an hour, I put it down ... we just use the piano sound. Disappointing there for sure. Now I'm sure there are some video tutorials on line that I could look up and follow along with, but the initial tryout was frustrating. They say it can do everything and more that the old one did, but it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. It is a beautiful thing, though... right!?

Unfortunately this piano arrived broken, as in, It did not turn on. Additionally it was literally broken. The key cover did not slide open and the lacquer finished was cracked.A replacement was ordered however the 1st order was never picked up. The new unit played but the volume and amplification was weak. Also The top end was thin. There were many cool functions but as a self contained unit it was not acceptable.Shippers need to understand how to move a piano. The trucking company that delivered it was rolling it from end to end. Like it was a wheel only... its....big surprise fellas it's a square box.Holes in the box made me not sign for it. Fine print on the guys phone says it was delivered satisfactorily. Without even opening the box..... I'm so sure I'm gonna sign that.. Amazon.com needs to contact real Piano movers. Not the run of the mill common carrier . I tried to get Suzuki Tech Support but they never called back. What a bust.

Beautiful instrument. Sounds amazing. Electrical cord is way too short. Delivery service was poor in that all 3 boxes were punctured in several places and one was so badly torn the contents were completely visible. But no damage surprisingly. The driver said that the guys in the shipping center are rough on the boxes and don’t seem to care. If you this product be sure to inquire about a different shipping company.

The craftsmanship and quality is immaculate and it sounds beautiful, I've been playing for 10+ years and I believe this is a great piano. I completely recommend this piano to anyone, beginners or people with a lot of experience.

Came with no legs and no bench. Misrepresentation. Spoke to a rep (bless her heart). It was going to take 4-6 weeks to get the legs; we haven’t even talked about the bench yet. After spending approximately $2,700, and waiting for weeks for the item to be delivered.I was rewarded with DISAPPOINTMENT.

The company needs to put in the description that this product comes unassembled.

Have some issues w/ non functioning keys. Does someone know where to go for service. I am in Northern NJ. Bergen / Passaic County. Thanks everyone.
