Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've been meaning to purchase one of these for a while, and the Kitchenaid brand ones are so expensive. This is a great option. Fits right on, no issues with that, and works like a charm. I just made brownies and I didn't have to scrape the bowl at all! The paddle is well made, cleaned up nicely on the top rack of the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

I purchased this to use with our new KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer (model KSM150). This attachment installs and fits exactly the same as the other attachments that came with the mixer. It appears to be very well constructed exactly like the other attachments. I did notice that with it installed, there was a small gap between the bottom of the attachment and the mixing bowl; and had read that there is an adjustment for this. If you tilt the mixer head up, you'll find a silver adjustment screw at the hinge point (see photo). If you turn this screw clockwise you will lower the mixer head deeper into the bowl. For my mixer, a full clockwise screw turn provided what I consider to be a perfect fit. So far, I consider this attachment to be a great value, especially compared to OEM prices for a similar item. Amazon delivery was also excellent as it was delivered early in the morning the day after it was ordered.

It does a great job at incorporating all my ingredients without them climbing up the sides of the bowl, which is what happens when I use my other beater without the flex edges. It's also very easy to clean, which is a huge plus!

I got a kitchenaid mixer for Christmas after wanting one for YEARS. I was so disappointed to find that the mixer leaves a LOT on the sides, causing the user to have to scrape the sides frequently, which doesnt work while the mixer is on. I found this for a cheap price and hoped for the best. When this arrived I would have swore it was too small to hit the sides of the mixing bowl, but I gave it a try and it scraped the edge AND scraped the middle area of the bowl. I am extremely happy with this and glad I don't have to swear at my mixer now!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a must have. Out mixer just has the standard mixer and always having to stop it to scrape the walls. This is slightly larger than the stock mixer and way better quality.

This company really has its eyes on the Kitchen Aid Mixer and the idea of making it a better machine with the add ons that make it better! I have bought all of the add ons and am thoroughly satisfied with all of them!Tom S

This is an awesome addition for my kitchen. I would regularly have issues with getting the edges when running the regular beater head with my KitchenAid 4.5 Qt stand mixer. The spatula edge fits great and cleaned the edge of my bowl no problem when I made a chocolate cake yesterday. This certainly saves a step as I am trying to make sure all the ingredients are mixed well and integrated. Very happy with how it works, as long as it holds up as well, I will be very happy.

The beater that comes with the mixer looks exactly the same as this one, except it doesn't have the silicone/rubber on it. This added feature does a much better job of mixing all the ingredients without leaving anything stuck to the side or bottom of the bowl. The only thing you still have to worry about is if the contents get too high up the side of the bowl for this beater to reach. That stuff you'd still have to use a utensil push down. Overall, great value and great product.
