Flying Pig 50" Stainless Steel Pet Dog Grooming Bath Tub with Walk-in Ramp & Accessories (Right Door/Left Drain)

2017; OMG its fan-tab-u-lous. Camera pics are not great but you can get the idea. I have 4 dogs. 2 adult labs Chocolate Labradors over 76 pounds, 1 pup about 60lbs. (He will be about 120lb when an adult). The other is a Chihuahua she will be about 23lbs.We unboxed it and there was a bit of damage see picture 1. Spending this much $$ should show better shipping, the box was 1/4 plywood. Very flimsy. Having damage-dented to back wall where it attached to the base, missing parts and NO INSTRUCTIONS was very disappointing also missing a bolt, 2 washers, nut locking washer.Putting it together was not hard as we used the pictures online to get the idea. Next came the drainage. The drain had a custom threading that couldn't be found or matched. To solve it we created a dump box. Which means its NOT a fully sealed system. (Where its located won't be an issue. The supply lines were long and nice. I recommend shark bites valves. No glue, but easier as its close to the walls.Sprayer; Well made. The only draw back is when your hands are wet or soapy its VERY, very slippery. I used 1 non slip glove(right hand), cheap like 100 for a couple of dollars.The Pros: The sliding leash is great. I could turn my dog around and just loosen the bracket and dog in place. Shelf/basket; Holds 4 small, 3 medium or 2 large bottles. (reference Suave shampoo).The supply lines: Are great 5' not hard to get the connections to them.Cons: The ramp; I have a 13 year old girl, She will do almost anything I ask her too but, when she tried to go up the ramp she was slipping we (Son & I) stood on each side of her just in case. Glad we did. When I saw this I had left over non skid strips for my stairs and I will put them in place.Drain Line: The threads on it are wider and nothing we tried at Home Depot would screw to it. Home depot expert was at a loss. Also the ramp is a bit tough to pull out, its almost not wide enough for the wheels to go into the sides. Pulling it in not an issue. I recommend a nice polish made for this type of metal.Update: Drain line; The company who sells it contacted me. Very friendly and couldn't stop saying sorry to solve any issues. He sent me the corrected connections for the drainage problem. (It should of been included in the 1st place). To repair the dent would of had to replace the back wall. As I stated before it was repaired by us.The ramp; he also sent me non slip skid material to place on the ramp. (Again should of been included). I will keep these for future use. (They are skinnier then the ones I used). The ramp still does not slide or stay up when not in se. It doesn't match the width of the ramp brackets! He said he would send corrected wheels but never sent.I am happy that they were willing to make "right" most of the issues. When they send the wheels and corrects the ramp issue I will update the 5 stars.2021: UPDATE: 2 Chocolate Labs weighing in at 76lbs Dame & 120lbs Sire. Chihuahua19.3lbs. The Flyin pig bath over all is great. Here's the break down 3 years later.PROS: My Dame had 10 pups, so the Flying Pig washing station is a great help and SO EASY TO USE. 2 levels for washing, shelves either on the top level. When the lab pups were little 5 to 6 weeks old top level. When they were 6 - 9 weeks old lab pups on the bottom level. Since I couldn't use flea items on either dam or pups I used Dawn original Dishwashing liquid).CONS; Update The Sprayer; (Just after the last Lab pup went to their fur-ever homes). It is no longer working correctly. The part where the sprayer is attached to the hose is leaking very badly (updated again 8/12) sprayer hose is cracked to the point its worthless. I am hoping to get a replacement from the seller. My son is a maintenance tech and says it's the "O" ring or washer. On going issue of when your hands are wet or soapy its VERY, very slippery. It is grooved the length of the handle but no help. I was using a rubber glove but since the sprayer is not working I am going to up grade it to one that has a built in attachment to add soaps. (Don't get me wrong, it's worth fixing over all however the slippery handle aspect is a pain to deal with).Issue: I had begun to notice (after the 1st review I put in) that the tub has begun to rust in little spots all over the bottom and a few on the sides of the tub. I have been using the product they provided, it cleaned and made it shine but, didn't stop or prevent the issue. So now I use Dawn dishwashing liquid on it to clean it (I use the Flying Pig product to clean the rest of it) and has STOPPED the rust spots for the most part. (B4 you think....there is no scratches, gouges or nicks to cause the rusty spots).Once I order and install the new sprayer I will update once again.

I did a lot of research on these dog tubs and finally decided on this one. I was kept informed re status, given shippers contact info etc. Item arrived on time, packaged really well, perfect condition, easy to follow assembly and installation manual included.The tub is installed in my temp controlled, walk in basement. So happy! Great item! Also picked up the Flying Pig dryer which is much more efficient and quieter than the hair dryer I used to use on my pooch.

Great tub! Walk in Ramp not so much. Should come with something to keep dogs from sliding back down ramp. Unfortunately, I end up having to try to lift every dog.

Very sturdy, easy to clean and as you can see in my video, my shepherds love it!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Trucking company delivered at the edge of driveway because tractor trailer was too big. My husband brought it in with our tractor, I assembled it by myself. Packaging was great, instructions were easy, took me 2 hours only because small screws/washers/nuts have to be placed in small crevices and that took some time, but still easy. I have small, thin hands (maybe not so much if your hands are bigger). Love the sturdiness, seems to be quality craftsmanship. There's a note that states the drain hose is for temporary use only and not to code, so I still have to purchase a stainless steel drain pipe. Not hooked up yet because we're putting it where a clawfoot tub currently is. Once we move the clawfoot tub and connect the dog tub, I'll update my review. But so far, so good!

This tub is great! Now I don't have to be on my knees at my bathtub to bathe my many dogs. I love this and will never look back. If I lost it today, I would immediately get another one. If you have more than 3 or 4 dogs, and you are over middle age, you need this and I highly recommend this company-Flying Pig Grooming. I checked several and did lots of research. This is the reason this company is the #1 company for this product for several years. If you are planning to get a dog bathing tub, this is the one to get. Delivery was as promised and there was not a scratch on the big wooden crate it was packed in. I love, love, love this tub. I removed my bathroom sink and that area was perfect for the tub and I had a plumber make sure the plumbing was as it should have been for it. All in all, the best purchase I ever made. I raise standard poodles and this is perfect for them!
