Tactics Bible - Magnum Opus

This is a historically up to date and relevant book. The students should set up these positions and study them thoroughly. I got a charge that the author asks you to rotate the board by 90 degrees to get a better perspective...it works. Sometimes what should be obvious goes unnoticed otherwise. Set up these games and play in your mind for a time albeit a few minutes to days to see the nuances of the positions. Dont be in a hurry and you'll come to FULLY understand the training methods within. As an above average Club player this little treasure is worth every penny !I really needed to add to my original review...this book NEEDS to be in EVERY chess players library. Without a lot of BS it cuts right down to positions that really matter and should be in every player's repretoir. It should be noted that this book is historically relevant...games from the 1800's to current all have a place within. Going into collegiate tourneys this summer I'll have this by my side for post-mortem analysis!!!My addition...after careful digestion and study I'm in love with this tomb! I even purchased an e-copy so I can analyse lines interactively. The commentary is light hearted and fun. In my humble opinion one of the best published this past year! Can't go wrong
