GREAT GLOVE Polyethylene Foodservice Glove

Revised 4-30-16:The gloves we received in the last shipment are of a horrible quality. I changed the rating from 3 stars to 1 star. The gloves are now so poorly made that the former gloves would rate a 5 star in comparison!- the gloves are now a lot smaller in size, but the fingers are a bit longer. They are very snug on my hands and fingers;- the quality has gone way down. The gloves tear very easily. I have little trust in them keeping my hands and fingers clean when they can rip apart with little effort;- if that's not bad enough, the gloves seem to be just shoved into their boxes. Being so crammed in, it's hard to pull just a couple out at a time until the quantity goes down. The former gloves were sort of stuck together in pairs and neatly folded in large groups and placed into the boxes where they were easily pulled out.- these new gloves are hard to get open. You have to dampen your fingers to get them open and if you have just a bit too much moisture left on your fingers, good luck getting them on!So, due to the now poor quality of these gloves, I will gladly pay double for the old gloves I used to order elsewhere.Old review:While the price on these gloves is reasonable, the quality isn't as good as I'd hoped. They are a step up from our previous gloves in that they don't tear quite as easily (but they can tear if you're not careful with them), but they are much thinner. Also, these gloves are rather large from the thumb area down through the the wrists and make it hard to manipulate anything as the gloves can fly off too easily. We've learned to either moisten our fingers/palms with water, alcohol or hand lotion before putting them on. They'll stay on well doing that. As long as the quality doesn't go down, we'll continue using them until we find something better.

I agree with many others: what were good disposable gloves have become not so good ones. The gloves clearly aren't the same as before. Most obviously, the sizing is way off. My very petite wife uses these. The small size she purchased a while back fit just right. But the new ones are now even too big for her hands. The gloves are too tight and the fingers are made for someone like the Grinch--i.e., the fingers are really long.The gloves also seem to made of a different material. It's much more like the way latex gloves fit: skin tight.Amazon should change the sizing, otherwise it's going to get a lot of returns. "Small" is XXS. I don't know if the same applies to the other sizes, but NOBODY should order small.

I had previously ordered these in small and I liked them so when it was time to order them again I did. This time they came smaller than last time and I can barely fit my fingers in. I need to get one size bigger. What I don't like is that I ordered the same exact one. They made a mistake either the first or last time I ordered and now I am not sure what size I actually got nor what I should get next.

These polyethylene gloves are great all purpose gloves. Although they are thin, these gloves will hold up to most food service handling situations. They also are good for protecting your hands for light chores around the house. They slip on easily, and for people with latex allergies, they are a great alternative. My one complaint is a minor one; the box is on the small size, so it is difficult to get out the first few gloves. Other than that, they have performed very well.

Terrible. These gloves are so cheap feeling. They also arrived in a box that appeared to be taped closed and resealed on the sides. They are by far the lowest quality gloves that I have ever encountered and they are pretty much useless. The fingers are so long that you have extra plastic bunched up and I do have XL hands and always use Xl gloves.

It is kind of strange that ring finger is smaller than other two middle fingers. They are functional but definitely not as good as the ones I bought from a different store.

they are very poor quality and walk off my hands occasionally staying in my food while I'm working on preparation the gloves that I received and I thought reordered were much better. I would not suggest to anyone else and will not order again, going into the trash .

I use these for all meat handling in my kitchen and they are very durable. However I ordered "small" and they are still huge. These are not just good for food but I use them when doing arts and crafts to keep glue, paint, leather dye and other liquids off my hands.
