This is a first rate business laptop that easily handles personal chores. Well built, high performance, light and great battery life. Easily upgradable to Win10 if desired. Memory upgrade is so easy a kid can do it (see YouTube). I was fortunate enough to find a new unit for $569 where the same unit direct from HP was ~$1100. If you don't mind the added expense of the SSD drive I would highly recommend it as performance is hands down better than the std HDD. Wireless AC, USB 3.0, core processor, light and fast.

After using the notebook for @ 3 months, I have nothing but good things to say about it. Nice size screen, not too heavy, durable keyboard. I highly recommend it. We bought this model for everyone in our small office (8 people); everybody is similarly satisfied.

This is a great computer. Fast, light, thin and capable. Fully loaded and the docking station also has a small footprint.

Our school handed these laptops out for us to use during the year. I'm actually using one to write this review! This is my experience and thoughts with the Elitebook 9480m:Pros:- Insanely fast boot and response times- Thin and very light- Comfortable backlit keyboard- Large glass multi-touch trackpad- Wide I/O- 8 hour battery life- Quiet- Bright and colorful 1366x768 displayCons:- Gaming graphics a little slow- Finicky wireless- trackpoint (middle of keyboard)- FragileSummary:These 9480m laptops are perfect for anyone on the go, or just needs a quick ultrabook to move around room to room. The silver colored aluminum design is carried over from the 8470p and looks very classy. The screen, although thin and easy to break, looks very nice and colors are better than many laptops I have used. The battery on this laptop lasts all day and then some. I can usually finish all of my schoolwork and watch a few videos before needing a charge. The laptop boots in around 8 seconds and loads applications almost immediately, making work easier and quicker. A small issue is the need to reset the wireless adapter through the troubleshooter every time I wake the computer from sleep; A small glitch that i'm sure a driver could fix. Overall, if you need a traveling laptop with power and battery life, get this. Don't let the specs deceive you, this machine packs a punch under the (very thin) hood.5/5 stars (Very small issues that can be fixed)
