The Art Shop Skipton Kraft Paper Gummed Tape 36mm x 54m

It was too sticky and tore the cartridge paper

I have used gummed tape many times to stretch my artwork. This roll was a replacement and i have to say after grumbles in class that the gummed paper is not as good as it used to be, i have to agree. Its not the fault of the supplier but i feel that the manufacturer must take the brunt of my frustration. The paper is very thin and to stretch my work well enough i find i need to double up in some instances or add some masking tape. It bubbles up at the edges and what i took for granted as my technique for stretching, i find i am having to change and adapt to the poor quality. Could the supplier pretty please look into getting better quality tape.

It rips the paper as you take it off unfortunately, spoiling my artwork. Despite trying to do it gently and with water. Not sure I'd buy it again.

Not just for fastening parcels. Can be scored and used as ribbon and use for other crafting purposes. Arrived in very good time
