Awesome but beware
I thought that this would be an easy mini to paint but I was wrong. I want to first start by saying that the detail on the piece is very intricate. I love nulzur's minis, they are pretty much the only ones I buy because they are affordable and detailed. This particular mini have me a challenge. The scales on the underside were difficult to reach and paint. If there was a way to separate it from the base without breaking the model would be nice. Painting the base underneath the dragon was rather difficult as well. Working with the gold color scheme was a challenge for me as well. Overall, it was a challenging mini to paint and well worth the money. Was I satisfied with the paint job, no, but not everything can be perfect. I highly recommend picking this mini up.

Opened product
Ordered the item as new and it was received opened but they used clear tape to tape it back shut. The figure is nice if it didn’t have gaps in the wings where they connect to the body.

Excellent Miniature, but....
A small gap between one wing and body....easily filled with Tamiya Epoxy putty ( smooth surface). Using this miniature for the young gold dragon in Castle Amber....

Worth the buy for new and experienced painters
Wonderful model that took well to my paints and washes. Could probably use a bit of filler for the small fill lines but other than that was a joy to paint
