This satellite cover works! Keeps snow and ice off the dish.
Excellent product. This satellite dish cover works as described. It actually protects the dish from ice and snow. After a storm with snow and ice, this cover protected the dish and absolutely had NO disruption of reception during the storm. This is the first time that has ever happened. The only issue I have is that the elastic tie to hold the cover on, is too thin and does not work. I had to put 4 bungee cords to hold the cover on the satellite dish to prevent the cover from coming off and blowing away. Very satisfied with this product!

Works ok but snow does stick. I had to sweep it off were significantly reduced.
The number of times I had to sweep it off was significantly reduced.

Blocked signal
I bought this so hopefully I wouldn’t lose a signal during bad weather, but obviously it does the opposite! Had a service call today, and as soon as he removed this, I got my signals back. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I don’t believe they will refund me, but I’ll try.

Doesn’t work for me
I really had high hopes not having to trudge out in snow to clean off my satellite this winter. This worked with light snow we had earlier this winter and I was happy with the performance. But the Midwest often gets heavy wet snow. The snow collected on the cover instead of sliding off the cover.

amazing product!
So ... in my opinion this is a very worthwhile product. There are some pros and cons. Nearly all the snow falls off fairly quickly while my neighbors dish filled up with snow pretty fast. When we had some of the big wet snow, it stuck a little bit, but i never lost my tv service. I found that a snowball hitting either the cover or the back of the dish instantly cleared off the snow on the cover. I've tried this snowball trick in the past without having a cover and the ice on the metal dish was always the problem, the snowball usually just sticks and adds to the snow on my dish. I may or may not have had to go out to try the snowball trick(curious I guess), but since my neighbor lost service and I did not, I find this cover worth the small price. It is claimed to last several years through the summer also, so I won't be climbing a ladder to get to my dish anymore. Hope this helps someone out in deciding to buy or not. I say "yes"

Works!
Super easy to install on my DISH satellite dish. It has worked great during all of our snowstorms. We did experience some minor loss of signal when the snow was falling heavily, but that is due to volume of snow in the air, not the cover. It is made well and holding up good so far (this is our first winter trying a cover).

Upstate NY Snowstorm.
Is this a knock off? First of all, the item itself does not have the "Dish" label printed on the front as advertised. Second, the cover is WAYYYYYYYYYYY to big for my "Dish" and the cheap elastic isn't strong enough to draw the back far enough to make the front flat. And last but not least: We just had a snow storm and I lost a bunch of DVR recording because it ICED OVER and I lost my satellite and did not realize it until I went to watch my recordings that did not record. The ONLY good thing about it was that it was easier to clean off than the bare "Dish" was. Clean up your ad and don't advertise that the cover has "DISH" printed on it!!!!!!!

Not fool proof.
I retired in Oregon from SCAL. Never learned the differences between wet snow, dry snow, sticky snow, powdery snow, etc. you get the idea. So, we were losing satellite signal continuously until we bought this. However, although it mostly repels the snow, some kinds of snow still stick but I would estimate it repels about 80% of the snow based on type. So, its worth it but you may still have to use the broom on occasion.
