SpeedoWomen's Placement Hydrasuit Swimsuit

I’m a size 16/18, 5ft 9 and needed an additional suit for open water swimming that was flattering, but wasn’t too high cut at the legs, could be worn for longer distances without rubbing, long in the body but also gave enough coverage when it was a little cooler.Love this swimsuit and it ticks all those boxes - the high neck is really flattering and comfortable, although took a little getting used to at first as can’t wear wetsuits as feel like they are strangling me! I like the brighter colour on the bust as it draws attention away from the tummy region and is great if it’s a little cooler, as I just pop a long sleeved rash vest over or my Speedo arm warmers.The only reason I give it 4 stars is for the zip! Easy to take off, but unless you are incredibly flexible, have a handy helper when getting dressed or make the string longer (although be careful it then doesn’t become a hazard!). I went out for a day swim-trek adventure and had to change suits multiple times for biosecurity between lakes - got completely stuck putting this on & had to fashion a bizarre hook/stick from twigs and kit from my pack to hook onto the string snd pull the zip up!!!

This is a good swimsuit but the sizing doesn't make sense. After reading previous reviews I ordered size 18 (I'm usually 12-14) and it fits snugly.

I ordered a size up and still found this too small! Much higher leg than I expected.
