i would buy a different tensioner
listen i might not have the same problem as everyone else but for me, the washer that connects to the spring didnt fit on my derelluir hanger, however i cut it down with a dremel and it worked fine. its ok for the price but there are much better out there.

Mediocre quality
The cog is plastic, and has no bearings, it sits very loosely on the shaft and wobbles at higher chain speeds. The arm and spring mount are fine, and it is possible to install a proper cog and new shaft for quiet, low friction use. As it comes from the factory, I do not recommend it.

poor quality, even for $18...
Umm...This tensioner looks good and will work for awhile I guess yet...its loosey-goosey on the mainpivit and the "cog wheel" must use a low quality bushing cause it does not turn freely. I will disassemble to see if I can lube to makeit worthy of this price. Just glad I did not pay $30 for it!

It keeps the chain tightened just fine but the cog is fairly cheep and when I peddle the cog goes crooked and rubs against the chain guide. Super annoying noise but other than that it's lasted for a while now.

Loud
Noisy, but works great so far, haven’t dropped a chain yet
