We bought 2 of these for our daughters aged 6 and 3. The 6 year old has a hard time falling asleep and I thought this might help and God forbid the 3 year old didn't get the same thing. Both really love them. 2 nights in and knocks the 3 year old out in minutes, 6 year old a bit longer but not as long as it takes without.it. There is no wurring noise, I was worried about that, and the projection is excellent. You can have it moving or still, coloured or white. Doesn't come with a plug, just the USB cable, thankfully my husband has never knowingly thrown anything tech out so we had USB plugs, battery powered too but haven't tried that. Happy with our purchase.

My son was quite scared of the dark, but some nightlights were too dull and others were too bright and were keeping him awake, or waking him too early. This was just the right amount of light directed onto the walls and ceiling which meant it was not direct light into his eyes (put it slightly above bed height though otherwise the light would be too bright in the eyes). The fact you could change the colours and it was stars and moons was very comforting for my little boy. We tried the moving aspect of the light, but felt it was a little distracting, so just kept to the still version, but it might be different for each child and it was very easy to use which ever setting you wanted. We used the plug option, so we could just switch it on or off as and when and didn't need to worry about batteries.

Yesterday this popped under suggested links. I ordered immediately and set it up this evening , less then 5 minutes later she was asleep! I’m going to enjoy sleep tonight, here’s to no screaming ! Highly recommended

I got this to put in my children's room (3 years old and 19 months old). They instantly loved it. I love that you can choose from battery powered or wired(I have yet to use it with batteries). It has 4 colours to pick from as well as all the combinations, it has a rotating mode and twinkling star mode that uses all the colours. The brightness is good (the darker the room the better) and it is very easy to use (my 19 month old picks his own colours).The rotating mode does make a sound, just a hum but enough for me to notice (my kids don't notice). The twinkling star mode is too fast for getting them to sleep but is good to watch any other time.It has fallen a few times and still works so a nice sturdy product and when sticky fingers get on the film done it is easily wiped clean. Very pleased with this item.

I bought this for my 7 year old grandaughter for Christmas as she loves colouredfairy lights in her bedroom, thought something celestial would be different. This is lovely as it changes colour and you can use either batteries or plug the USB cable in to a port or usb plug. She decided to use it when she had a bath too....photo included. It’s a lovely sensory light that is very relaxing .
