I was surprised at both the magnet strength and that of the adhesive pads they provide. The magnets are really strong - I used two to hold in place a wooden "hatch" that sits in a slight rebate in my wall. The hatch is MDF/wood and about 75cmx75cm, so fairly substantial - much of the weight rests on the bottom edge of the wall hole when it's in place, but these hold it better than when it was screwed with two 5cm screws into a stud.The fitting of them was also quite easy - the adhesive pads they give you for the metal strips are really strong, making it easy to place the magnet parts, clip on the metal strips to the magnets, fit the adhesive pads on the metal strips, then position the thing they are to hold. Press the object to the adhesive for 20 seconds, then pull away - the adhesive holds the metal strips in their destination position, strongly enough to easily break the magnet pull and you can screw the metal plates in place exactly. This never failed for all 8 of the magnets - I was pleasantly surprised. If I ever have to do this again I will order these - great value.

These are great magnets which are strong and easy to fit. I used these magnets on a tile covered board so as to give easy access to a concealed toilet cistern.

Seem well made and sturdy, used them on a wardrobe door which wouldn't stay shut. No fault of the product but it was too powerful for what I needed and it was difficult to open the door

As in the title, this is a very well made and well finished product. The magnets are strong, it looks smart and is easy to install.I have revised this review for a second time because when first fitted I suggested using a larger size catch as it didn't seem to be holding the door very strongly closed.Strangely, a few months later it's holding the door much more strongly closed than when first fitted. The 30KG, 70mm model has proved just right.I have no idea why this should be, but it is definitely the case. Maybe it has just bedded down in some way.

Good and strong just what I needed.Only had cheap small plastic ones in the past these are miles better.You need to make sure you put the main body dead at the end of your cupboards.Fix the screws in the middle of the elongated slots so as to give slight adjustment if necessary.I didn’t like the peel off pads to transfer the long strip to the doors and just couldn’t get on with them.I measured level top and bottom of the main body and transferred them to the door.Ensure the long strip screw holes miss the main body of your catches and the screws are countersunk properly when door is closing.They fit well and have good magnetic hold.Used on four doors in hallway which had cheap plastic magnetic catches.Highly recommend this product.

I needed a few of these for different cupboards of various sizes. They are as strong as they say if you are pulling them off the magnet but when on the actual door the mechanic of the door opening means you need stronger than you might think. As I bought different size it did not matter.

Strong magnets did the job it was supposed to

The strength of the magnet is pretty good but the build is annoying. There is no base on the magnet block, it's hollow so there's late or surface to adhere to, you have to use the two screw holes. Others I've used in the past had a solid singular base so were much more adaptable.
