I’ve done several of these laser cut models this winter and have been so impressed in the accuracy and precision of the cuts and fit! This particular model was a nightmare. I had to file and sand nearly every piece to handfit the assembly! This was the second ROKR kit I’ve worked on and am disappointed with the cut and fit, the first kit (a steam locomotive) had perfect cut and fit.

I have bought a lot of these kind of wood projects, I have enjoyed assembling each and every one of them! The grandkids love to watch the mechanics of them work. They also serve as a great way to teach the kiddos the basics of how gears work and the importance of following directions for awesome results! This was the only one that I have ran across yet that is not worth buying! The wood is very thin and breaks very easily when assembling

It a really good looking truck and fun to build. However, there are many parts that need to flex to bend around turns such as the hood, fenders and bumpers - these are extremely fragile and not so easy to put together, and crack very easily. Need a lot of patience and finesse to build. Also, instructions are based on diagrams - they could be clearer.

Slow and steady wins the race. They were thoughtful and provided several duplicate pieces so that if you broke a key parts, you weren’t out of luck. A spot of model glue here and there makes all the difference. Looking forward to doing the next one.

Much smaller than I thought...purchased as a covid project for my hubby. He enjoyed building it, but had to glue several pieces, as it is very very delicate (as other reviews also mentioned). Very nice when finished

I bought this for my brother who is a wood guy and laid up with a broken leg. He said it was a lot of work but worth it! I've bought 3 from ROKR and he has enjoyed putting them together while being laid up.

This truck puzzle was bit rough putting together. Very fragile & some pieces are easy to break. Glue will be needed for this puzzle. I am happy with it after it was completed.

Very dissatisfied with the pieces, I've built many before even from ROKR which were great. These parts did not match well amd broke easier than any other build.

Was a great way to waste some time and clear my head!Overall very satisfied with this model kit.You do have to use some force to put it together and like the picture shows might break some of the pieces :( I broke the hood piece trying to manoeuvre it into place. There was one part that I had to watch their video to see how they did it but that's why that video exists!I would stick to the 14+ age range as there are alot of small pieces and you really need to focus on the part numbers.

This is not quite what I had expected but was fun to put together anyway. The pictures shows gears under the hood but they don't do anything. The only parts that move are the wheels and doors and the doors do not fit very well. Also requires extreme care to put on the hood as it needs to be bent and breaks easily. For the price I had expected a model with working gears. The title calling it a mechanical model kit is misleading Neither would be considered mechanical models since they only have a few moving parts and no gear drives.

Part D2 broke as soon as I tried to wrap around. Another part broke, my fault.Cannot be bothered to return unless I have more issues. But, , it is awesome. Patience and perseverance needed.. haha.I will be ordering another one when I get finished this one . I am impressed.

depends on the peoples i find this is vert hard to assemble. Some piece either little big or little small and makes it so difficult to work with.

In the process of putting it together, the material is very flimsy and delicate. A piece snapped in 2 and when reached out to seller was advised that there is nothing they can/will do. So this is a $50 piece of garbage now.
