Overall I would definitely recommend this item, but with a few notes of caution.There are pros and cons, heres what I found:PROS:its half the price of others I have used.the keratin lasted at least 10 weeks on my hair, even using ordinary shampoo and dying it, it still had a lasting effect. I followed the instructions to the letter.I went on holiday and swam in the sea and swimming pool, without it draining out the keratin.I even lasted after I re-dyed my hair, twice.My hair felt fabulously healthy and shone like gloss for weeks afterwards.The keratin product is literally 'smurf blue', so it helps you to see where the product is going as you apply it, and means you can avoid getting any on your scalp (it burns if you do!).You get a generous amount of product. I have shoulder-length hair and used only half a pot for the first application.After the straightening step, you wash the product out, which I found great as it meant you didnt have to hide away in your house for 2 days with the keratin still in your hair (like you do with other brands).It is a chemical based product of course, so there is a strong smell, but it was nowhere near as bad as other brands I have from Amazon, where you feel like your eyeballs are on fire!CONS:The smurf blue colour definitely stains skin (temporary), but also surfaces. I got a small amount on my grey bathroom cupboard and its permanently stained it :-(It definitely lightened my hair colour, by at least 2-3 shades. This was even using the correct version of the product for dark hair (but then my hair colour was fine once I re-dyed it).You need to allow for 4 hours application time for shoulder-length hair. I followed the instructions exactly and once the keratin was applied, I did not rush the comb through, drying or straightening stages. So it took me an entire evening. But this is most definitely worth it for the long-lasting effects.TIPS:Use lots of old towels to protect neck, shoulders and surfaces.Make sure you buy the correct product version to match the shade of your hair!

Used the Kativa keratin & argan oil (orange box) before, with good results but it took away a lot of the colour product in my hair. This time I opted for this brunette version but what a mistake. The “cream mask” is not a mask but a vivid blue liquid like blue ink. So hard to apply, it dripped everywhere, took a lot of cleaning after and even stained the basin worktop.It turned my skin and nails and brush blue, couldn't wash it off and will have to wait for it to wear off.Was it worth it? Not at all .. nothing like the straight, soft finish I get with the keratin and argan oil product - my hair is a little straighter on the top but the ends are really dry and frizzy. For all that trouble, so disappointed.

Terrible product it ruined my hair! Will not be purchasing it again
