Nice product!!
This is a very good cargo carrier. Took me about 15 minutes to put together by myself so super easy. This is a very sturdy carrier. Took it on a 7 hour trip with 2 ice chest and has no problems. This is a great product and have no regrets buying!!

Great product for extra cargo space for your trip or ...
Great product for extra cargo space for your trip or day-to-day run arounds. Frames are well built and precisely measured. It came in three pieces but you can easily assemble them with a few bolts and nuts that are provided. Unlike other cheap kinds, this carrier won't tilt over time. I've used it for camping trips in sunny and rainy days several times and I haven't seen any sign of rust yet. Before you purchase any cargo carrier, make sure that whether your car's exhaust pipes would be pointing any part of the carrier. Also, you need to check the distance between your pipes and the carrier. I have a Volvo XC60 that has dual pipes pointing rear direction and the car has the "hidden" trailer hitch. The hitch is kinda hidden under the rear bumper and not sticking out but this compromises the distance between pipes and the carrier as well as the direction. The pipes are directly pointing to the gap of the carrier (between bottom frame and top rail) and the heat from the pipes actually burnt plastic materials such as tarp, plastic bag, etc. I had to come up with DIY solution to block the heat. If you have cars with exhaust pipes pointing to the side or downward, you should be good. Also, if you have a trailer hitch installed integrated into the bumper, the distance shouldn't be a problem. See pics for my situation. I strongly recommend you to check out eTrailer.com's videos prior to purchasing any kind of cargo carrier.

Sturdy & Great for extra capacity
We used this to haul with for the first time this past week, about 4 hours round trip & it worked great! Only wish there was an additional hole to adjust & bring the haul a little closer to our vehicle for added support. It is also a little hard to get the hole in the right spot to secure it but with a little patience & wiggling around it works out. We used two of the very large black & yellow totes from Home Depot. We strapped one on top of the other & off we went...

Worked great!
I drove 3500+ miles with this on the back of my SUV when I was moving across country. I had ~200lbs on it with no sagging or swaying. It’s heavy, so I needed someone to help me put on and take off. A stronger person could do it on their own.

Get 2" receiver extension for Jeeps with rear tire.
Purchased this 60" Curt cargo carrier to replace a Curt 48" cargo carrier back in July 2021, andhave used it at the beach hauling our pier cart, large folding chairs, beach bags etc every holidayincluding several weeks of vacation for 2 years without a single issue. It has been used on both ofour Jeep JK's with rear tire by purchasing a 12" long by 2" receiver extension. I will never bewithout one anymore. They hold up well for beach use. Just rinse off after use. I also uselocking pins on both extension to receiver, and extension to carrier to prevent someone fromremoving from vehicle without authorization. I fully recommend this carrier.

Assembly in 10 minutes and perfect alignment
I am not typically one to right a review. I do read many before making a purchase. After reading many of the reviews on this product, I decided to make the purchase. I have to say that unlike several other comments, the assembly of the cargo basket could not have been easier. It was a total of 11 bolts, washers and lock nuts. The two halves aligned perfectly. I have not used it yet (arrived today) but it seems sturdy. As others mentioned, I may simply place a piece of light/thin plywood on top of the metal mesh bottom to address any concerns with the integrity of the mesh. To me, it appears to be a good value for the money.

Very handy...I chose this non foldable one.
Really good platform and pretty large to haul most anything you need to… Cumbersome to handle yourself… Especially when you’re trying to get the hitch pin hole lined up ... I have used it quite a bit since I’ve had it and glad I got it… You have to choose whether you want a platform to fold up when not in use or not… This one does not fold and therefore has a shorter shake so when you have something on the platform, many times you cannot access your lift gate . The foldable platforms have a longer shank and that might be an advantage for them so you don’t have to unload the platform just to access your lift gate... but the shank is shorter and angled so I’m a little more comfortable with it when parking or dragging on steep angle driveways, etc.

Good ol' Curt
Quality construction, easy assembly.Be sure to know what the rating of your hitch is.The carrier does support up to 500lbs, but for my car the Class 3 (also by Curt) hitch supports up to 350lbs tongue weight.Since the carrier is about 65lbs, I can comfortably hold about 285lbs. (Though there's probably a tolerance for more, I'd say exceed at your own risk)I recommend pairing this with an anti-rattle attachment since it removes the tiny bit of play that could contribute to more wear on rougher terrain.

Solid piece of equipment
Well built, the kink helps to keep it high off the ground.

It’s good
Does the job. Mine is a tad off level with the bumper but is not too bad. I’ll live with it ( that’s why the 4 stars)

great to use
it's great. added the extra space needed. we need to travel with a stroller.the item is well built. assembly was easy. it's a big cargo hitch. putting it into the hitch receiver is a two person job. one can do it, but it's heavy and solid. with 2 people, it's easy-peasy. also, with 2, you can stick the hitch pin in easier while the other is wiggling and positioning. the grate floor is fine when weight is distributed. heavy weight on one point will bend the grate.
