cheap and shoddy
I bought this a couple of months ago in preparation for the cold weather. I took it out of the garage today to assemble it, and wished I'd checked it when it first arrived. It's replacing my old trug cover, the metal parts of which had rusted. So, to begin with, the metal tubes are poorly finished at the ends, with burrs and knubs, some of which stick out at right angles, which cause two problems; the first is the danger of cuts, and the second is that they inhibit easy assembly, the tubes having to be almost screwed into the plastic joints, which are so thin some of the burrs are in danger of cutting through. Once assembled and in place in the trug, be prepared for the cover to give problems when you put it on the frame. It's slightly too small for a standard sized trug, so won't fit easily round the edges of the trug. The ties to attach the cover to the frame are flimsy ribbon, and only four are included...one for each corner upright. There are none to attach to the the upper cross members, so any breeze getting underneath will lift the cover up and off. I say off because one of the ribbons came off the cover in the process of tying it on. They're poorly stuck on. I'm lucky in that I kept my old cover, and have been able to use that on the new frame. The ties on the old cover are velcro, firmly attached, and there are cross member ties on it. Do not buy this trug frame and cover...it is cheap and shoddy.

Baby chicken shelter maybe, not growhouse
Got this for our little flock of bantams with their chicks to go in out of the rain and wind and it turns out they prefer to go under a bush. The frame is pinned down with a couple of tent pegs and the cover with a brick. As a growhouse it is irritating because of the zip location and length.

all the above
The frame is sturdy but light, very easy to contruct, how long the plastic cover will last will be a question for the future, but it appears to be quite 'hearty'so I would suspect it should last a few years, and could easily be replaced with another piece of plastic.the frame being the most important part.

Fits my 1.2M veg trug
I needed a new cover for my veg trug and I was going to pay £60 for it, but instead I came across this brand for £22 which also included the frame. I haven’t made up the frame as I don’t need it, but the cover is really good quality. It was a little tight trying to zip it up, but I assume that is because it’s new and needs a little stretch. Let’s see how it withstands winter!

Good product.
Brought to protect my growing sunflowers at night. Easy to assemble and large enough to house two large troughs. Good product.
