Your Lie in April Part 1 (Standard Edition) [Blu-ray]

I loved it. Beautiful story, the drawings are well made. And the music is so great as we expect.

The artwork is so beautiful on this, and there is a space for future discs. Very well produced and one of my sons favourite Anime of all time.

As of the time of writing it's September 2018.This is going to be a review of the case because I assume that, if you are thinking about buying this show, you've already see it and have decided you liked it enough to purchase the physical copy.Part one collectors edition comes with the first half of the series (Episodes 1-11) in two boxes. The first box contains the discs and the second box holds the first box as well as has a space for Part two.The boxes themselves are extremely well made. They feel strong, have a matte finish and everything is covered in beautiful artwork. Nothing about these look or feel "cheap".Even the menu on the discs are oozing with style, having moving artwork and and music from the show playing in the background.Part one doesn't have much in the way of extra material with only having a English commentary for episode 1.This is a great edition to any collection. However I can't give it 5 starts because of it's price. It is asking a lot to pay the price for a full series for only the first half of one but they try to make it up with the extremely high quality of the items they give you.

Product was perfectly fine and play's perfectly.

With gorgeous artwork and presentation, this box-set is a must have for any fan of the series. The show looks stunning in Blu-Ray quality. Watching it on DVD would not do it justice. Your Lie in April is one of my favourite Anime series, so this is one of the stand-outs in my Anime collection.

Beautiful packaging design, and a wonderful anime - can't wait for part 2.For those who are having issues with the size of the slip case, Anime Limited have notified that there was a bad batch and are offering a replacement scheme now - contact them with proof of purchase and they'll get you the replacement sent out. If you're wondering whether you're entitled, then look on the back; if you have the blue information bar down the side, that's the original release, if it's pink, then that's the rectified batch.

The slipcover is so tight you have to destory the lovely box to get it open. Don't buy this until All the anime announce some kind of replacement scheme. This is the second anime release in the last couple months that have had this bizarre mistake - the other being Studio Canal's When Marnie Was There.

Got this due to it being my best friends favourite anime, he was very happy to receive it ^^

I was hesitant on buying this since for both dvds they didnt specify of it just came in sub an dub but they come in both but in all i love this anime as much as i love other animes similar to it you can say its happy an sad an will have you going through mixed emotions while watching it but in all I'd give this anime the max star limit if i could

本放送のとき涙して好きな作品だったけど、録画に失敗して全話はちゃんと見てなかった。日本版は高くて手が出なかったけど、これを見つけて購入。リージョンB＝ヨーロッパのBru-rayなので普通のプレイヤーでは再生できないけど、うちはOPPO-203にマルチリージョン基盤をつけているので見ることができた。リージョン切り替えの操作は必要だけど。北米版は字幕が消せないようだけど、このヨーロッパ版は字幕は完全に消せる。また北米版は少ない枚数に詰め込むために音質・画質が犠牲になっている事が多々あるけど、これにはそういうこともない。音質・画質とも非常に優秀。特にこの作品では生楽器(風)の演奏が重要なので、その音がきれいなことは素晴らしいといえる。BOX1はあとからBOX2分を入れられるよう大きめのケースになっている。最初「あれっ？何か特典が入っている？」と思ったらそういうことだった。BOX1に含まれる内容はちょっと鬱展開がすぎる嫌いもあるけど、後半への橋渡しと思えば見てられる。というか、やっぱり全話一気に見たほうが救われるような。そうそう、Extraと書いてあるけどコメンタリーが1話分あるだけで話が追加されているわけではない。そこは期待しないように。
