Men's Adult Engineer Hat

From reading other reviews, I expected this hat would be cheaply made, but figured I was only wearing it for a couple of hours so it didn't matter. To my surprise, this hat is very nicely made! It is made out of thick cotton and fits both myself and my husband with an adjustable band (and we have big heads!).

It's an train engineer hat. Looks good and a good quality hat.

Sent my daughter with this hat for first day of middle school!! She said everyone was talking about it.

For the price quality was very poor and cheap fabric.

I was happy with this purchase. My son needed it for a costume. It was reasonably priced, the fit was perfect and the quality was good. I was especially pleased that it arrived on time as promised.

Actually, I had to order another one because I cut a lot off of it when I cut open the envelope it came in and threw it away after trying out. It seems to be a well made hat- if you want a REAL Engineer's hat you'll be paying around $30.00.When I get the REPLACEMENT in I'll put it on a cooking pot, use some Spray-Starch on it, and then iron it. It should keep a good form then.

This is the same hat as the "Adult Adjustable Railroad Train Engineer Hat" which the same seller has listed for several dollars less on this site. I would have debated this point with the seller and returned them, but I ordered one of each for a present and didn't have time to do that. Hopefully my lesson learned helps someone else- as I think that is shady business.The hat itself is cute. It is adjustable with a black pastic ballcap adjuster in the back. To me the black plastic detracts from the cuteness factor, makes it look cheaper. But it was loved by the gift-receivers... so you couldn't ask for more than that. I would have given the hats a 4-star rating if not for the seller listing issue.
