I read reviews and saw that the tape inside was an odor issue, so I took care of that with kapton tape before I even tried to run it. I think by now the manufacturer should be on top of this, some of the posts are old enough. The oven appears to work as described. I will need to tape a thermocouple or two, and maybe a data logger to verify the temperatures. A USB output would have been a nice feature. The user defined wave profiles seem somewhat vague, this will require some time to figure out and program. But seems like a solid, compact, unit with good size and thermal capability for the price. Will just be using this as a screening tool for blisters and processing issues.

It is not going to win any industrial design awards, but it does the job. For the price, it really does work well. I am a satisfied customer.The assembly was not perfect: The tray was tilted. It was easily fixable, though (loosened the bolts, straightened the tray and re-tightened the bolts). I have tried both pre-programmed and custom profiles. Again, it is clunky (button presses are erratic), but once you are past that, it works. Nice to see a perfectly baked PCB coming out (relatively) perfectly cooked! ;)I would give this 3 stars for the clunkiness and defect mentioned above, but for the performance for the price, I am adding one star.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Have used it numerous times and still love it. I am getting even soldering over the entire tray area.
