Rothco Buffalo Plaid Sherpa Lined Jacket

My husband got this as a gift from me. It looks nice but def is bigger. He got a large and it fits like a xl. He seems to be fine with it because most bigger things are more comfortable. But appealing wise, for me I would like to see it more form fitting. But he said its what he wanted and is happy with it. So good purchase. Expensive tho.

Thankfully I bought my dad 3x. Normally he wears XL to XXL but the 3X fit just right. Beautiful coat just order larger than Normal.

I have purchased ROTHCO shirts, vests and trousers before. Their stuff is first rate and these shirts are no exception. I will buy ROTHCO again!Specifically, the outer shell is a heavy weave cotton, not polyester. I like that because it greatly reduces static and minimizes pet hair and other dirt's tendency to cling to the garment. The workmanship is first rate, with additional attention to details in the cut and accouterments. The liner is also heavy duty fleecy polyester (except the sleeves, which are sateen), very warm.Some have made much of the shrinkage issue. That's cotton for you. My answer was to squirt an entire can of Kiwi water proofer for fabrics on it right away to repel dirt and moisture. When I wash it, it'll be with cold water, by hand, then hanger dry. Agitating cotton fibers and subjecting them to heat during washing and drying will net you a clown shirt. Don't do it.

I have been looking for a Green Buffalo plaid jacket for a long time. there are a dozen makers of Red plaid but few of Green. Retro ones on Ebay were selling for $100s of dollars. I wanted one with side pockets and a heavy lining, Most I found did not have side pockets. The Rothco did not advertise as having side pockets. I had posted asking previous buyers if it did have side pockets and was told it did. I love this jacket and can't wait til the weather cools off to get and wear it. I bought a large and it is a little snug across the chest. I wear a 48. The extra large would have been too long in the arms.

Great looking. Warm, and was told very comfortable. It was a Christmas gift for my teenage grandson and his mother says he hasn’t taken it off! 😊

I purchased this shirt jacket for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. He is very particular when it comes to what he will wear and I searched high and low for this type of shirt jacket. Most of the ones I found on the internet or in local stores had a sweatshirt type hood attached and I knew that he would not wear that type of garment so when I found this, I ordered it and when he opened it on Christmas Day, he LOVED it. It's a great weight, made well and he loves that the sleeves have the acteate lining as opposed to the Sherpa lining so that if he wears a sweatshirt under it the sleeves of the sweatshirt slide smoothly and don't get stuck!

I have been looking for this particular shirt for 2 years now. I bought my husband one when we lived in PA about 10 years ago and I made him throw it out because it was so tattered it looked ridiculous. He loved that shirt and always commented on how warm it was. When I had him toss it I thought I'd be able to get him another one just like it. I was so wrong until I found this one. I've bought 2 high end shirts which are very nice but he really wanted the Sherpa lined (we always called it fleece) that he had. I stumbled onto this and and am so happy I did. I can stop searching now. He LOVES it.

Now I have bought the blue one delivered today. The arms are longer on the blue (new one). I am keeping it but will have to have cuffs tailored. Otherwise it is the same as the one I have been wearing for 7 yrs. I like the black and white one that much. I have worn the old one all winter this year in Vermont.

everthing fits good and they are very warm but was not expecting to pay 30 $ in custom fees was a reall shock to me

Both items fit nicely out of the box! my biggest issue is with the yellow plaid shirt, I washed it and hung it up to dry as instructed to on the tag and it seems to have shrunk and now it doesn't fit.......
