Today I received the HAUSPROFI Stainless Steel Funnel with mesh that I ordered from Amazon. The package arrived on time and the funnel with mesh has exceeded my expectations. I used the funnel with mesh to filter 6 gallons of peanut oil that I used to fry a turkey on Thanksgiving. As expected, I was able transfer the used peanut oil back into its container using the funnel and filtering it with the mesh. I am pleased with the combination of the funnel with mesh and would highly recommend it to anyone that is attempting to filter and transfer fluids from one container to another. Thanks

I use this daily to filter my fresh goat milk. Works great. Best to wash by hand. It collects gunk in the dishwasher. So unless you pre rinse all your dishes, don't put in the dishwasher. It will come out with all sorts of stuff stuck in the folds. Otherwise, it's great. Holds up to being used and washed twice a day.

My husband got tired of using coffee filters or cheese cloth to filter fryer oil. This little funnel strainer was an excellent purchase. It works amazingly well. Was a little skeptical when I ordered it, thought it might be flimsy. But quite the opposite. It is well made. Filter looks very dense but oil runs through like water. Easy clean filter. You can not go wrong with this little gadget.

aesthetically great and gets the job done. the mesh food strainer clips onto the funnel - was expecting it to just sit on top but it interlocks really well so there's no risk of spill. great product!

For the longest time I baked french fries in the oven and the taste was not the same as fried. So I purchased a deep fryer, but then had an issue with draining and filtering the oil. Using separated paper towel was slow and messy at times. I immediately purchased it.I received the filter and funnel quickly and was greatly pleased upon opening it. The funnel is stainless steel and is excellently made. The filter sits on the rim of the funnel and it settles in on the handle. The filter allows plenty of oil to flow through and catches all the scraps that fall into it during cooking. The filtered oil tastes great. Best of all cleaning the filter and funnel is so easy. It dries easily and is ready for the next use.I'm so happy with this filter / funnel set. I purchased this filter and funnel after the last time I struggled with filtering peanut oil through cloth. I finally got a chance to use it last night after I fried fish. Worked great!I only use my electric deep fried once every month or two and I don't keep oil in it between uses. Of course, I also don't want to throw away most of the nearly gallon of oil that it takes to fill the fryer. So I put the oil back in the jug but need to filter the crumbs of batter and such out first. In the past I've used some type of cloth to filter the oil. While it worked, it took FOREVER and I ended up with a huge mess.Last night I put this filtered funnel on top of my jug and poured the entire container through it in one continuous pour. By the time all of the oil had poured into it the bottom of the mesh was getting fairly plugged with solids so it took a few additional minutes to let the residual oil seep through the bottom (as shown in the pic).This device cut my frying clean up time from well over 30 minutes to about 5. Very happy with my purchase!

I have used this to help filter some particulates out of a batch of mead that I had added some tea and other small flavoring items to. The screen on the funnel filtered nicely and took the large chunks out without issue. The rest of the particulates should settle out and it should be a good batch. The funnel is good and solid and doesn't flex or bend. The neck is a good size to allow flow and the entire funnel is not too large so as to be awkward on top of a jar. I will say it is not a good funnel if you are worried about introducing oxygen to your mead. I was not worried about the oxygen addition because fermentation was still in the beginning stages. I don't doubt I will be using this for things like straining meat liquids for gravy or something similar. I will see how it holds up to heat, but that won't be for a while.

The funnel part is working great..
