Quality control dr)pping?
Ink is going fast these days, and something broke in the tip very soon. Some metal pin protruded and it started bleeding ink. See photo

A LONGHANDER'S DREAM COME TRUE!
Ihave been a prolific pen-using writer since the mid 1950's.Over the decades, my choices of pens have changed; however, no pen, ever, has fit my hand better than the retractable Pilot G-2 gel pen, my favorite being the blue ink .5 mm Extra Fine point.Suddenly, a few years ago, that model began to disappear from stores. The larger.7mm point has never been hard to find, but I find that point,my wife's avorite, too clunky compared with the.5mm. A few weeks ago, down to the last bit of ink in my last .5 mm.pen,i decided to look for refills.Imagine my surprise to find twin packs for that pen available at Amazon.I couldn't order fast enough. I ordered four sets. In true Amazon fashion, they came right away.I have switched several of our .7 mm points to my new blue .5 mm's, and I am enjoying my longhand correspondence, again.I may order a few more sets, just to be on the safe side. Down to your last favorite pen?Try Amazon for refills and keep writing.

Best pens ever
Alright, "best" is an over-statement. But the Pilot G2 is a great pen. The gel doesn't smear or skip, it has deep rich color, and it writes on most every kind of paper without being too bothered by fingerprints or other contaminants that cause other pens to fail. They never seem to dry out either. Their extra-fine points are a joy to an accountant's eye.But they ARE expensive. We have a lot of them walk out with clients, an unfortunate thing. And when they run out of ink (and they do a bit faster than traditional ballpoints), well, it seems criminal to toss them. The barrels and retractable mechanisms are nicely made, and throwing them away is a waste. But at Office Depot the refills are practically as expensive as the full pens in the 12-packs. So I was delighted to find these refills at about 30% less per pen than the new ones. Plus, when you are $4 short of the threshhold for free Amazon shipping, these are a terrific way to bring your order up past the cut-off without buying things you'll never use.

pilot g2 refill--extra fine point
I really like the smooth ink flow and the shade of blue--I have a favorite barrel I like to use when writing very small instructions for pattern making and sketching and this refill fits just fine (extra fine), the ink doesn't smudge on cheap paper either and it's permanent without fading--even writes on some fabrics and non-paper media well, too. if you have a favorite pen--hide it from wandering eyes and sticky fingers--for some people pens and mechanical pencils are still tools not freebies!! I would like to see more colors in the extra fine refills at reasonable prices in this g2 model--would recommend this refill if you can hang on to the whole pen (yes, I'm a little compulsive and possessive of my tools!). thanks

Easier than going to the store
My local supermarket sometimes has the blue in stock, sometimes not. I write very small so I love the extra fine point, and for notes I often need at least 3 colors, so it's great to get them at the same or cheaper price online. These write very smoothly and will never have the terrible bleeding problems you'll have with a hotel pen. I find G2s very ergonomic, which is great if you do tons of pen-writing like I do. One refill probably lasts me a month, and I've never had storage problems where ink dried out. Will probably be using G2s for a very long time!

Much better than Extra Fine
This refill option for G2 pens is much better than the .05mm extra fine tip option. I've found that this standard Fine tip .07mm is much more dependable and it's still a fine enough tip to write intricately without having some of the thick 'bleeding' of some gel pens. On the .07, the ink flow is always smooth (unlike the .05 which tends to get dried out or clogged and quits writing long before the ink is used up).If you're looking for G2 refills, rather than buying a whole new pen, this is the best option.

They work well, but immensely overpriced right now
So I've been a loyal Pilot G2 pen fill buyer for a while now, because my main pen is a custom body that takes Pilot G2 refills and they happen to be the cheapest type of refill available. Cool. Unfortunately, the market has shifted to a weird state ever since the pandemic hit. I've looked at some of the prices for the 0.7mm pen fills lately and they cost... $16? for 2 pen fills? That sounds absolutely ridiculous.I ended up going down to the 0.5mm thickness penfills for 3.99, but even then I think it's too much because I have bought the 0.7 blacks/blues for as low as $2.50 which I think is way more reasonable.Otherwise, in terms of performance, they're good. The writing is smooth, the fill lasts for a fair bit of time but not nearly as long as I'd like, I think in fact it dries out a little faster than some other pen brands I've used in the past. But the price is something I can't get over. Please fix this.

Waterproof.
Writes longer than ballpoint pens. Smooth writing experience. Waterproof too, please see the pics. First one was after writing. Second after pouring water. Third is an hour later.

Good Product, Cuts Waste
A colleague of mine likes this ink and prefers to ask me to restock than to use other pens. We are an architectural firm and the staff generally gets to choose their pens. Instead of going for a new item, one of them prefers refills.Definitely an environmentally friendly choice over the other products which end up in the landfill.

Easy to use. A versatile refill.
I bought these refills to put in my G2pro because i prefer the blue ink. They are smooth and easy to swap into your pen of choice. I prefer the 0.7 but thats just personal preference.

My favourite pens/refills, and fantastic value at the current price
My favourite pens/refills, and fantastic value at the current price. I've used some other brands of "0.5" fine tips (in particular, Zebra Sarasa) and the line weight is much nicer on these.
