dmazing Walkie Talkies for Kids, 3 KM Range - Festival Gifts for Kids

I have owned a few Walkie Talkies in my lifetime and this set is probably up there in regards to the ease of using them. Originally bought for an upcoming cruise we had planned that was cancelled, I figured I would let the grandkids use them to play. Both under 6. I had to show them one time and both ran off and played for more than 2 hours. I did find a few pairs that were less costly however, they seemed more complicated when it came to using them. I am very pleased with how easy these were and thankful I didn't have to explain and show my grandkids multiple times. My brothers kids who are teens had a blast playing with these last night and in fact, they have added a set to their birthday list.

These are awesome, work great about a half mile away from our house at the tennis courts! My kids and I use them to communicate while they are playing and the kids love them for nerf battles. The sound is clear. The only con is there are a lot of buttons so for younger kids if they press the wing thing it’s hard to get it back to the right channel.

Great walkie-talkies!! These work for quite a long distance and what’s nice about them is that there’s not a lot of background noise on them they’re easy to hear the other person speak. The Madewell they’re not cheap plastic it will break easily. I got the pink and the color is great they are so bright and colorful. They also small enough to hold in little children’s hands and they’re not too heavy. Our family’s going to get a lot of use out of these, i’m not just the children! They really are fun

My kids have really enjoyed playing with these walk-in talkies while home quarantining. I have two kids, one is four years old and one is eight years old and they are age-appropriate for both. They are also easy to use and set up. They operate on regular batteries, and we’ve had them for a while and they are still going strong. I have not tested the range but we do have a big piece of property and haven’t gone out of range yet. I ordered pink thinking my daughter will play with them with her cousin but she and her little brother have played with them a lot and he doesn’t seem to mind but they are a “girl color”. I probably would’ve ordered amore gender-neutral color if I had to do over but it has not been an issue. I honestly thought he was too young.

My wife and I purchased these Walkie-Talkies for a birthday gift for a five year old granddaughter. There are a lot of controls but I would recommend "LOCKING" all of the buttons, as this will not allow switching channels, etc. When you lock the buttons, the only button that will function is the TALK button, which is the only reason kids need a Walkie-Talkie to begin with. There is no SQUELCH control but there is also no background noise so that feature is not needed anyway. The battery life seems to be really good so far. Each Walkie-Talkies takes four AAA batteries. When turned on, there is a liquid crystal display that does not eat up battery life. If your kids are going to use these for extended times, I would recommend buying some AAA rechargeable batteries along with a charging unit for the batteries. It took me a few minutes of reading the directions to learn all of the functions and after reading, I decided to "LOCK" all of the buttons so that our five year old granddaughter would not accidentally switch channels. I would recommend setting the volume, the tone that you want to hear when you press the CALL button, and turning off the audible sounds when any button is depressed. Very easy for kids to learn how to use.

Hello, I purchased this set of walkie talkies for my 4-year old granddaughter and she loves them! I was surprised with the clear sound quality and ease of usage at such an affordable price! Nice additional features such as a light, a ringer to notify user and available in few colors. My granddaughter enjoyed them immensely and did not put them down the entire weekend!

One works just fine from what I can tell, and the other worked for a split second (just long enough for us to throw the box away), but then crapped out. I think this set must have been a previously returned item because it didn't come with the earbuds as indicated, then one of them was broken. Like I said, we tested them out and they both worked, but then one didn't work. I tried changing the batteries out thinking it could be that. I checked the controls "lock," and that wasn't it either. It will sometimes turn on and make a couple of beeping sounds, but then it won't do anything after that. When it was on, it was "stuck" on one screen and pressing the buttons wouldn't do anything. I know these were just $20, but they should work. I left seller feedback, but didn't get a response.Update 1/30/21: I was able to get in touch with the seller. They wanted me to take a video of the front and back of the broken one. Not sure why a video; they didn't ask for me to do anything in the video. After a few back and forth emails (pleasant ones), they sent 2 brand new walkie talkies (this time blue, not yellow. But, that's ok). They both are working as they should, so I updated number of stars previously given - from 1 star to 4 stars. There are quite a few features I like. The only thing I really don't care for is the LOUD "beeps" after the talk button is released. This cannot be turned off apparently. The other beeping sounds can be disabled. I'd say, don't expect to use these for any "covert operations" if your kid is playing Mission Impossible in the backyard. All in all, these are some pretty good walkie talkies; and the company took care of the faulty one, so I give them kudos for that.

My 3 year old granddaughter loved this item! She couldn’t wait to play with it. She thinks of it more like a phone. Even her cousins who are a few years older had fun playing with these walkie-talkies. This was definitely a “hit” at her party!
