this stuff is really nice, and i feel like a lot of thought/science must have went into making it.also, love the fact it's all natural.fist off let me say that i feel that this is a bit of a "hybrid" product.it's not quite a pure clay (or heavy clay), but it's got more texture and hold than most clay pomades and/or matte pastes.in general i really love heavy clays, but my biggest complaint is always that they are hard to get in (tug&pull), and most don't wash out very easy. however matte pastes/clay pomades go in easier, but they are usually lacking the hold/texture of a full heavy clay. ALSO they tend to get hard ih the hair as well.this stuff sits right in the middle, and sorta has the best of both worlds. it works almost as well as most of my favorite heavy clays, but it also goes into your hair like butter (no tug&pull), and also washes out easy as well.really happy i stumbled across this product :)

This product is absolutely amazing almost perfect! But my only problem is the smell when I first got it and used it the smell was great but now it smell bad, almost to the point where I don't want to use it. Maybe it's because it's all natural or I did something where it made it go bad or even a batch thing, no clue. But the product is really good.

So I will say upfront that this is more expensive than even other home brewed products but if you have thin, grippy hair that gets oily easily with other products. Then this one is perfect for you. Products such as the salon guy clutch, Don Juan clay, dauntless was cream, root and middle clay, and shear revival matte paste are all amazing (except for the Don Juan, got a bad batch and they didn’t really care), but they all tug at my hair and most get oily if I use more than 2 scoops (again this doesn’t seem to be the case for other people so I’m explaining how little oily and grippy earth made is). Earth made gives me the control and the matte look all without the tug so although it is pricy for a smaller jar, it’s worth it to me.

I tried pomade for the first time 4 months ago ordering 3 well-rated brands. Earth Made is by far the best and is a delight to use. It's almost magical how it makes my hair fuller, gives me unbelievable control and provides a natural hold all day long. I wasn't even out of my first container before ordering a second just to make sure I would have it on hand. Wish I would have discovered Earth Made Clay Pomade a long time ago. A truly great product and great company to deal with. Earth Made, please don't go anywhere!

I was extremely impressed by this product. First off, I mainly bought Earthmade because of the healthy ingredients. But as far as styling goes, I was not disappointed. Through the years I've tried a lot of home brewer and salon products, and I say this honestly, this has been my favorite. Awsome hold, (my hair is about 5 inches) lots of volume, as well as great texture. Incredibly versatile as well. Very happy with it.

I have used many high quality, home brewed clays, pastes, etc. over the years. This is among the worst I have tried. First, the smell really is quite offensive. Second, the breakdown of the product is chalky, chunks and leaves a lot of solid particles that never breakdown. Getting it through the hair then becomes very difficult and it leaves inconsistent product throughout your hair leaving clumps, greasy looking spots, etc. I appreciate the approach to being all natural, but it does not emulsify properly and really cannot be used with the current formula.

This is the smoothest product I have ever used. It works great for my thin wavy hair. Applying it to my hair is smooth and has a good hold. Happy with it so far.
