I needed a waterproof raincoat to wear in Paris, France, during October. I was travelling on connecting flights from CA to CDG. I am a very petite woman, 4'11" and 88 pounds. This raincoat fit me perfectly in PXS size. The lining kept me warm enough, both during flights and outside in Paris, without adding bulk. The sleeves had cuffs that offered a little more cover when fully extended, but could be folded back for more exposure. The detachable hood, with drawstring, offered more rain protection, but when folded flat, made a nice collar. Both generous pockets had inconspicuous zipper closures, making them very secure. The weight of the coat made it comfortable enough to wear during long flights; the black color did not show soil or spills, and the fabric did not wrinkle. After I got home I washed it in the washing machine exactly as directed and it came out looking like new, no pressing needed. The simple design of the coat allowed it to be dressed up or down by wearing with suitable accessories, similar to a basic black dress. I wore it over jeans, skirts and leggings. Although I did not wear it over jackets, I could have, since there was enough room in the sleeves. All in all, I was completely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Bought this for my Florida trip a year ago, but never had to wear it. Back in FL for this year's vacation, and brought it with me. Excited that it was long and would provide great coverage in storms. I just wore it tonight and I am soaked. Might as well have had nothing on. I wrung out my shirt, that's how drenched I was. Hair, under garments, everything drenched. Amazon needs to remove any reference to this being a garment for inclement weather in it's description. It's a flat out lie.

Fits perfect, love the look, covers your bottom if caught in the rain sitting on a bench, love the olive green color, most importantly, really protects your head & body from rain, LOVE it!

However, it is not a rain jacket. The first time I wore it in the rain I came in with my shirt all wet. It did repel water some, but the rain went right through it especially on the back near the hood. I love the jacket though so I will buy some waterproof spray used on tents and I will coat the jacket so it will be waterproof.

Perfect to stow in luggage or a car trunk to always have rain coverage when you're on the road. Worked perfectly on my latest trip in a serious downpour. Big pockets let you keep hands dry as well. Totally adjustable given drawstring waist and hood. All in all, an excellent value for the money (and kind of cute!).

Liked the price and the quality of the jacket!

I don't have incredibly high standards or expect too much of products, generally. That said, when I buy something that has only one job, I at least expect it to do that thing. A rain jacket that doesn't protect against the rain is useless to me. I was out in light rain for 10 minutes and was drenched. That's a bad rain jacket by any standards. Only gave 2 stars because it could be a moderately good wind breaker, just don't ever try to take this "rain jacket" out in the rain.

I wanted a lightweight, waterproof, highly visible raincoat to wear over a winter jacket. This one fits the bill perfectly. It really is waterproof and not bad looking either. It is very visible at night. Bonus points for elastic cuffs, zipper to chin and double points for hood that fits over winter cap and doesn’t blow off in a wind. I got two sizes bigger to fit over down jacket perfectly.

This rain coat is exactly what I was looking for an upcoming trip. I wanted to be able to layer up depending upon weather and this folds up and packs away perfectly

It is a light weight fabric so it is not thick at all. I bought mine so I could wear a sweater underneath for spring/fall. It is water resistant and I love the colour of mine. It’s nice and long as well so more coverage from the rain!!
