Very good butter storage that works well for short fat butter sticks. The bottom part has a raised edge to keep the butter and the lid from slipping. The inside of this raised edge is 1 3/4 (1.75) x 4 inches. The feature I love is where the knife is stored. The knife can be all buttery and is still not be unsightly. It does not touch the lid, only it's little slot.

This is the butter dish of my dreams. When you place a large stick of butter inside, it does not touch the inside of the lid. It is durable ceramic yet lightweight. The small knife is perfect and fits elegantly into a slot on the side. The butter dish is designed with smooth edges in all the grooves so that it's very easy to clean.

It took awhile to get this but it is so cute. Great quality and beautiful color. I love the little knife that comes with it.

Have to cut about an eighth of a bar of butter for it to set correctly. It is well made, the only reason for a four star is the butter bar size.

This is a very nice butter dish with cover and integrated knife, in the base. I find it expensive for its size. One stick of butter will not fit length wise in this butter dish. Because of its size, it is not an everyday use butter dish. Very pretty on the table though!

バターを酸化させないように使い勝手のいいものを求めていて概ねそれを満たしています。通常、酸化させないためにはバターを密閉できるものが良いのでしょう。しかしそうではなく、小分けにして保存のバターと日常使うバターで分けることで、バターの酸化をできるだけさせないようにと考えこちらのものを購入しました。こちらに小分けにした後は形からの想像通りで日常の使い勝手は良いです。しかし、そのサイズが中途半端で、通常のバターのサイズからこちらに合うサイズに小分けにする際に手間取ります。箱のバターをどう切っても中途半端にしか小分けにできません。それが改良されればシンプルで良いのですが。ついているナイフの使い勝手もいまいちです。むしろ、バターナイフ置きのスペースをなくし大きくするだけで良いのかも。

ナイフが付いていなかった。あと、思っていたより小さいが、デザインはよい。

他のレビューにあるように、市販のバターはそのままは入らない。私はバターをそのまま食卓に出したりはせず、普段から、切って出しているから問題は無い。価格も適切で朝の食卓をちょっとお洒落にしたいという私の目的には向いていた。

見た目は可愛いけど実用的じゃ無いです。使いにくいし雪印の200gバターはそのまま入らないし…バターナイフもすごい切れ味が悪いです。
