Beautiful knife. Can’t speak to the longevity since I haven’t had it long. Very sharp, very good looking.

Overall this knife is decent for the price.It holds up better than any cheap knife below the $100 dollar mark.However, I'm holding this knife to higher standards based on the claims made and it falls short in a few areas.While the edge came sharper than expected it only held together for less than 3 months of regular use.The edge has noticeable burrs and chips and has not retained it's sharpness well. It's not like it was strenuous use or anything, we chop mostly vegetables.The handle has a noticeable gap and the wood came raw and unfinished with no oil or any finish whatsoever, literally dry and absorbs all water which can't be good. We had to finish that part off ourselves with mineral oil.Compared to my other knives that hold an edge for 5 - 6 months this one seems like it requires more maintenance which is a bummer.Don't let any of that stop you from considering this knife however.It's a beautiful knife despite those flaws and when it works well, it really works well.The wood, despite not being finished, is really beautiful.The pattern on the blade is beautiful as well.I'm going to have to take this knife to get professionally sharpened sooner than expected but in the end, for the price, It's a nice knife that you'll love if you take care of it.
