I had a bigger soft side carrier that I put my cat in for nights and traveling but he was clawing up the netting on it so I ordered this little one for him with the little pad to put in it. While he used to fight going to bed in the soft side, he actually jumps up and climbs into this little one at bedtime. The door latches are a little tricky, one will go in easy and then the other you have to push on the door a little. He has been trying to chew on the latches during the day so I turn it around towards the wall when he's not in it. It is light weight and would probably crack easily but he loves it and I do to. Well worth the cost which isn't high anyway.

This was a good price for the size. The door and clips that hold it together are all plastic and it was not very secure. We had a kitten escape it very quickly. We needed to add additional security.

It was easy to put together and was perfect for handling small animals

I bought two because the price was great, but I was disappointed in how cheaply they were made.1. They should have had real fasteners on all sides. There are only two fasteners in the front. The rear part comes with two holes for zip ties, which one of my kittens promptly chewed off.2. The material is thin and flexible rather than solid and sturdy. I'm concerned about carrying it by the handle and feel I should support the bottom or put a strap around it (because of the fasteners, too). I'd never use it for travel other than by car.3. A 10-pound cat, if frightened, can destabilize it easily, so I wouldn't set it on anything other than the floor. It might just pop open.That said, when I first got them and left them out in the house - they all played and slept in it at times - so they like the size. I bought a pillow for each one first, of course.

UPDATING!! PLEASE BE AWARE!!!I had to update my review to warn others. I really thought it was going to work out well up until I actually put it to use. My cat managed to stick her paw on top of the door and pull the door off it's hinges. She scraped her nose and bled in the process. The body of this crate is fine but the door and the plastic hinges, pegs etc are absolutely garbage and dangerous. Short from duck taping the door shut ,which is absurd I would pass this on bye and please buy a crate with a metal door, hinges etc. I totally wasted my money and had to make an emergency pet crate purchase. Maybe you can use it indoors as a bed/house.Old Review.....It is not the sturdiest as far as the plastic pieces and plastic door but for a medium sized cat and a 2hr car ride, it does the trick. Reinforce it with zip ties if you have an active cat. I would not trust this with reptiles, dogs or small furry friends as the door if pushed hard enough can break off and theres a weird slot opening on top, that just doesn't make sense. You can duck tape it from the inside, to make you feel more secure. It comes with strap hooks but no strap. I would not trust the flimsy strap hooks anyway. Overall, this turquoise blue is beautiful, it's a great size and my kitty likes it.

I thought this would be a good carrier for one of our cats, but she managed to tip it over, get the door open, and get out. Tried again, even tying the door shut, but somehow she actually broke the little pegs that keep it locked and escaped. She's not that big or heavy, but she obviously objected to being caged!This carrier is easy to put together and is fairly lightweight, with plenty of open slots on all sides so it doesn't look "closed in" and has plenty of air circulation. For a quiet, calm small animal it should be great. (Just no stubborn zoomie energetic small cats, lol!)

Wow! it arrived less than 24hrs!! It has great colours and perfect choice for moving a puppy from point A to B. However it is not steady enough for multiple handling and its handle is not friendly.

Difficult to find a good size cage for a big cat. It's one of them but the materials are very cheap and flimsy. We just use it for going to the veterinarian so it does that job well.
