Lower Grill of 2019 Tacoma
I couldn't find ANY reviews on these before taking the plunge, so here's one...I wanted to keep the factory fog lights for general use and add selective yellow for snow, dirt, etc. The factory fogs are actually really good as fog lights, but the yellow is known to provide better contrast in/on snow/dirt/dust.So far so good. I installed these this weekend in the lower grill of my 2019 Tacoma using the brackets from CaliRaisedLED and some inventive use of aluminum tubing from my local Ace Hardware. The beam is very wide, very flat and has a nice, crisp cut-off. After aiming, I haven't had anybody flash their lights at me. It was snowy this morning so I had these on for the whole 45min drive to work. The lenses do get warm after a while, not hot enough to melt the plastic of the grill, but warm enough that icing over shouldn't be a problem.Aiming was a breeze: park on a level surface 25ft from a flat wall, measure from the ground to the center on the lens, measure that same distance on the wall, mark (using masking or electrical tape) 4in down from that height on the wall, adjust beams so the cut-of is in line with the mark. They're on the more expensive side, but I've found it's better to buy quality once.I will update if needed, but so far I'm very happy with these.
