Michel Design WorksFoaming Hand Soap, 17.8-Ounce, Winter's Tale

These foaming soaps are expensive, but worth it as an occasional treat- or gift. Because the soap is infused with air at the pump, you use less, they last long, and rinse well. The scents are gorgeous but not heavy or chemically, like some liquid soaps. They are moisturizing and gentle if you wash your hands frequently. Let's face it- the art on the bottle is what pulls you in. This little "fish tank" makes me smile every day! Beautiful!

This is another nice product by Michel Design and the quality is definitely worth the price! I have been buying other things by them as well for the kitchen and bath. The scent of this is called 'floral' but it really isn't - it's more of a light and clean smelling soap. I imagine this would be good to use in any room, not necessarily the kitchen. It's also so light that men could use it without smelling like perfume. The soap itself is soft and gentle on the hands and the dispenser is attractive enough to leave out on the counter. One review said this is just ordinary hand soap, but I disagree and find it moisturizing for mine which are usually dry. The rabbit design is cute and different but there are many other ones that are also very nice. It's hard to pick only one! When paired with a 'matching' item (towel, potholder, napkins, etc.) this would make a good gift for someone, or even by itself!

The light turquoise color is perfect for my bathroom and I love the graphics of the blue eggs in a nest. Great scent (I would not use it otherwise) and love that it is foaming. Now my go-to soap for my bathroom - have it on 'subscription/repeat' order. All of the Michel Design Works hand soaps are beautiful, but some scents I do not like. This one is a keeper.

This is the ONLY handsoap I buy. It lasts forever and the scent is mild and not overpowering like most soaps today. I have it at every sink in our house. The only thing I wish is that they would come up with a refill that didn't require throwing away the containers.

This was a second purchase for me. The first was the “spruce” scent. Loved that scent and will look for it again toward winter. I now have nest and eggs in use as it is spring. Light and pleasant scent, sky blue color. The products from this company make great housewarming gifts. I highly recommend that you try one of their soaps to experience the exceptional level of their product line.

The Great: These liquid soaps are fantastic! I love the scents I ordered and even like the one that was packaged incorrectly (see the note below, The Meh). The size of the dispensers is perfect; large enough to place at any sink and heavy enough (while new and full) to stay put. The labeling on the dispensers is beautiful and the pumps on the dispensers depress easily and give a good rich foamy soap with just one or two presses. I will definitely order these again in the future. I plan to see if the company offers refill-size bottles so I do not have to keep buying the pump bottles of soap. I do re-use old pump dispensers by putting a little of the concentrated Ivory Soap Dishwashing Liquid in them and the filling the bottle with water, but I plan to keep using these Michel Design Works scents. The Michel Design Works foaming soap dispensers that I just bought are to replace four dispensers used at home that I bought at Bath and Body Works about 6-7 years ago and to put two of them in my art room at school. Due to skin sensitivities of myself, some family members, and some of my students, antibacterial soaps and hand sanitizers cannot be used. When I bought the Bath and Body Works dispensers years ago, I got them all the same scent and poured the soap into a container for a friend of mine, then washed out the containers and pumps and used them with the aforementioned concentrated Ivory Dishwashing Liquid and have never had any problems other than the pumps are worn out on the much-used B&BW's dispensers. I wanted to explore using some new soaps with scents and I am very well-pleased with my Michel Design Works soaps, scents, dispensers, and the aesthetic appearance of these new bottles. I will definitely buy these again!The scents I ordered were Lavender & Rosemary, Sea Life, and Sandalwood Spice. I love the Lavender & Rosemary and the Sea Life. See below for the reason I cannot say anything, positive or negative, about the Sandalwood Spice. Due to the mix-up described below, that I actually like the Earl Grey (also has Darjeeling in it). It is not a strong scent. Guys would like it, and I almost hate to say this, but it would probably make a good kitchen soap to get rid of smells on hands such as onion or garlic. I have not tried it yet for that though. I will try to update this review once I do try it for that particular use. If it works as a kitchen soap in this manner, I will definitely order more for the kitchen.Having said all that, now to The Meh: I would give Michel Design Works four and a half stars if I could. The reason for the four stars is because I ordered the Sandalwood Spice but received the Earl Grey scent instead. The label on the plastic wrapping says, Sandalwood Spice, but the dispenser inside clearly shows the Earl Grey label. I'm not sending it back because my husband said he would like to keep it. So this saves me a step in not having to send it back but if I want the scent I originally ordered, I have to order it again and hope there's no mix- up this time. In all fairness, out of the five bottles of this soap I ordered, this was the only mix-up.

Came as expected

Somebody knows how to market a fabulous product. In addition to the fact that it smells divine, the foaming soap lasts a long time. It really is a high quality soap that does not dry out your hand (thank you Shea butter), but a bonus is the beautiful artwork on every bottle. I would never want to throw one away. Enjoy some affordable luxury.

Great product which goes a long way

The container looks nice, but the smell is like a mosquito repellant. Horrible odor for a "fragrant" handwash.
