So far, I love these
I am a Nike girl usually, I’ve tried other brands but I always come back to them. So far I really like these shoes. I have worn them for 4 workouts so far, one cardio, one leg day and 2 arm days. Quality seems good and they are so light and surprisingly comfortable for very little cushion.Pros: they are less bulky than the Xero prio which I had to return. Toe box is a good size for me, I have shorter toes and the ball of my foot is a bit wide so I sized down to a 7. I usually wear a 7- 7.5 for comparison in most athletic shoes. For instance in nike my metcons are a 7.5 but my free runs are a 7. On clouds are a 7, ASICS 7.5. I see a lot of people saying to go up a size, but it really depends on foot shape. It matters for the distance from the ball of foot to end of toes. If you have regular length toes go with your normal size, long toes maybe go up a half size. The straps on the side serve to pull your heel up and stabilize the ball of foot and adjust to your foot position which is cool. The zero lift is working out great for stability for me. Flexibility really allows you to feel connected with the groundThe only con I have so far is that the back of the shoe comes up a little high and rubs on my Achilles a little bit. I have already gotten used to it.

Great out of the box
Got these as a replacement for the Merrell Vapor Gloves. I LOVE the Merrells from a ground feel and comfort perspective. Flexible, moldable, zero drop, minimal sole, but I shred them within just a few months. The mesh upper is . . .well. . . not very sturdy. The Xero has a slightly thicker sole and a little bit of a deeper lug, so the ground-feel is not as obvious, but the flexibility is still there. Also, I've experienced no wear on the upper thus far. I was concerned about the tongue behind the achilles that the reflective ribbon threads through because I trend toward blisters in that area, but there's been no rubbing, chafing, hotspots, or any other discomfort with these shoes. To be clear, I've work minimalist shoes for many years, so if you are new to minimal shoes start slow.

Wonderfully, comfortable, flexible and light
I love the fit, the toe room, the lightness and flexibility and comfortable foot feel. I was looking for a shoe that would be more flexible and allow my foot to bend when doing workouts. This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. The design is perfect for what I needed. So happy I found these shoes.

Slippery in rain
I'm really sad to leave a middle star review because I love the brand and want to support barefoot shoemakers. I do love the shoe, it is so comfortable and lightweight. If I were using it as a road-running shoe like it was intended maybe it would be different. But, on top of paying almost $40 more than their site clearance price, I went out for a walk in light rain and they wer so slippery on slanted sidewalks that I had to go back home. These were going to be my go-to closed-toe shoe because I live in sandals. But for me, living somewhere that it rains quite a bit, this is not going to work. And I'm not sure when I'll really use them because when it's dry I wear sandals. So now I have to order other shoes for the rain.

Better than barefoot
After becoming increasingly frustrated by the thick cushions on my well-worn Nikes, I decided to give barefoot running a try. These shoes were an instant success.Pros:They are utterly comfortable. There’s a soft, thin cushion and wraparound tops. I wanted to wear them to bed, but my husband objected.Excellent tractionThe soles are thin and flexible but sturdy enough to withstand the pebbles on the dirt road where I run.Don’t even_think_about landing with a heel strike in these shoes. The padding isn’t thick enough to cushion the bone-breaking impact. These shoes train you to run on the balls of your feet which engage the body's natural shock-absorbing function of your calves. My running speed increased by about 30% the first time I put them on. They train your body to run with the most efficient use of body mechanics.Compared to my Merrill barefoot trail runners, I prefer these shoes for running outdoors because of their thin cushion. I have also run in the Merrills, which are fine, but not quite as soft. The size 10 is a snug but appropriate fit.Cons:You can’t wear them to bed.UPDATE JANUARY 2023: These shoes have excellent traction on snow and ice. You may want to wear a warm pair of socks for jogging below 20 F (17 C)

Great Workout shoes
My personal trainer suggested that I should get a pair of these shoes for my workouts at the gym and ditch my brooks running shoes. I decided to try them and I like them very much. I only wear these at the gym and at first I felt a noticeable sorenesss in my feet after I got home from my workout. However, after a couple of weeks I felt no more soreness.

My favorite!
I love these for everyday shoes. They look adorable with leggings, jeggings, shorts, skirts, boot cut yoga work pants, pretty much everything. They’re the perfect accessory to all of your favorite outfits. My feet are wide and thick so I sized up by 1/2 and I’m glad I did. I like my all weather Altras better for outdoor running and would never wear these out on the trail, but they are so cute, I can pair them with anything for an awesome everyday shoe. I bet they’d make a great shoe for indoor rock climbing, pickle ball, ninja gym, top golf, etc. I just think the sole is too thin for outdoor sports out here in Colorado on the rough mountain terrain.

So comfy for a barefoot shoe!
I followed the recommendation to get a size larger and glad I did because it fits perfectly. It’s a super comfortable shoe!
