Engine Valve Spring Compressor Tool Compatible with Modular Ford F-150 5.0L Mustang Coyote 4 Valve Engine Trac Magnetic Screw Retainer Black

I needed to do valve seals on a 5.0L Mustang and this tool was a savior, due to the Ford specialty tool being very crappy this tool should be the mew Ford specialty tool, just make sure you lube up the threads and you will need to get 4 longer bolts but I had some laying around and the tool was great, worth the 50$!

If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would. I honestly couldn’t imagine a more perfectly engineered tool. It did exactly what it was supposed to with zero tolerance issues, and is durable enough to use time and time again. I am so glad I bought this instead of some universal tool. Removing all valves from both cylinder heads was done in minutes and reinstalling was a breeze as well. Quality product. Would absolutely recommend this to anybody doing valve work on Coyote heads.

With this tool I was able to Remove, replace and install my 2012 Coyote valve springs fast. The tool is installed and moved only 4 times to work on 16 springs on each cylinder head (8 times for both heads). Much easier and faster then the clamp style tools.

Hold down bolts too short for coyote.Spring retainer cup is FAR too large for coyote as well.Perhaps a miss-packaged unit???

The bolts they send with this aren’t long enough. They only protrude through the plate 1 thread. Once I replaced them with 1/2 longer bolts, it works good and makes the job easy.

Works as it should. As previous review stated, bolts are too short. Had to get longer bolts.
