Jonard Tools ES-1964 Stainless Steel Electrician Scissors, for Heavy Duty Use

This tool has been provided to me by my company. I purchased extra from Amazon because our inventory ran out. I had technicians that I personally wanted to set up for success so I bought some so I could hand them out or replace them in the event that my company ever ran out of stock again.wow this is not my responsibility. However, my experience with them in the field has been positive. I use them to cut small copper wires for telecom applications, cut plastic down to size and various other tasks. These scissors were not designed to necessarily do. However, the scissors have remained sharp and have been a very reliable part of my kit the entire time that I’ve been using them. I have only had to replace the scissors once due to loss not due to any failure on the part of the tool. If I had to guess I would say I’ve been using the same pair of scissors with virtually no maintenance for approximately a year. I do not do heavy construction. I do light install type work. And in that application, these scissors have performed quite fantastically.

Very strong and sharp. Good for a myriad of uses. I use them to cut thin wires and thin sheet metal. They stay sharp for a very long time.

Came sharp, cuts and strips white well. Worked easily, not too stiff, not sloppy or loose.Good value for the money. I've never worn out a set of the nice but expensive Klein scissors, I usually lose this type of scissors OR someone on job borrows mine and "forgets" to return them, I've gone through at least half a dozen of the Klein version like that. So, might as well go with the cheaper (but quite effective) competition...

These work well for me. They are my second or third pair, they are the right price if you are like me and leave behind in an equipment bay/rack. They have held there edge well for moderate use. These have replaced more expensive company issued snips on my tool belt, i use them daily. I recommend for home use and light to moderate network and fiber work.

I specifically needed 4" scissors, and these are listed as 4.04" long in the product AND item descriptions. They are actually a little over 5" long. I subtracted one star, since they added one inch. Unfortunately, they won't work for me, but they are still good, sturdy scissors, so I'll keep them.

One edge is slightly serrated and the other is smooth. Both are sharp. I don't find the notches on the back very useful for stripping CAT5 but other than that it works well and the finger loops are big enough for my huge hands. I would buy it again.

Nice alternative to more expensive electricians scissors. I bought two pairs. Great daily usage scissor for telecom work. Stay sharp. Strip &Cut cat 5 pretty well. Cuts Labels & cable jacketing. Insulation in power wires. A Bit heavier than the other brand. Quality.

I liked how high the quality was with a lower price than other name brands. Highly recommend. Cuts effortlessly.

Die Schere hab ich mir für die Arbeit geholt und dort auch schon verwendet. Stoffe, Metall und Plastik schneidet sie problemlos.Genauso Papier, allerdings hinterlässt sie da ein gezahltes Muster im Papier. Ist also nicht für für gerade Schnitte im Papier geeignet.Allgemein bin ich super zufrieden.I got the scissors for work and have already used them there. They cut fabrics, metal, and plastic effortlessly.The same goes for paper, although it leaves a serrated pattern on the paper. So, it's not suitable for straight cuts in paper.Overall, I'm super satisfied.
