The Bag for Active People.
Having used all the different wearable leg bags, I've found the Rusch 500 ml. to be the best of the lot. I use them with pocket underwear designed to support the bag without straps. Straps are awful, and the specialized underwear is far superior to anything else. Golfing, without any issues, is possible, even if you walk the course. Sporting Clays, Trap, Skeet, are possible without your even being aware you have a catheter. Gardening, mowing, yard work, are all easily with your own physical ability. I'm a small man, so the 500 ml. model works the best for me. A larger man might be comfortable with the 1000 ml. They're just too large for me, and uncomfortable. The gate valve closure, is the only way to insure security. They will not fail, unless they break from old age. I dispose of them, when the valves become hard to open, or close. That's a two week journey for me, with two washings in between. The twist valve bags will open with any kind of vigorous movement. They're Ok for invalids, or those requiring a wheel chair. They will open at worst possible time if you're at active. Once they begin to leak, you cannot get to them fast enough to shut off the valve. You'll be wearing the contents. Rusch ! Stay dry !

5 -Pack -Easy-Tap Leg Bag, Large, 32 Oz, 18"...
I find these bags to be of excellent quality. I have never had one leak by accident. They only drain from the bottom after you open the drain flip lever. . The top of the bag seems to have some type of check valve to prevent accidental back feed spills. They are easy to clean by running water or white vinegar back through the drain side. The hash marks on the bag are well marked to measure output vs. intake. I use these for intermittent catheterizing with an extension tube especially in public or unfamiliar washrooms. It seems more sanitary and convenient and you do not have to touch hidden germs and catch a UTI. As mentioned before, you can discretely empty the bag, close the flip lever and take bag with you without worrying about spills. I do not use the leg straps so I cannot comment on them. I do recommend them.

Thank you for this product Teleflex Medical Inc Easy-Tap Leg Bag
Incontinence. We have been heading in the journey due to Alzheimer's/Posterior Cortical AtrophyMy husband ended up in ER and we left with minimal instructions and a leg bag with no tubing and a night time bag. ER was busy...I thank you and Amazon. I was hesitant to order this online... I read other reviews on other products with leakage etc.We don't know what we don't know...and I thank the Lord I picked correctly - I picked your product.People, caregivers do not desire the frustration of products that are not what they say they are. Yours is what you say it is... I cannot say it enough... thank you. I was overwhelmed looking at what I did not know and had to do...thank you for making it a little easier... Mickey Rawson

A godsend!
I ordered these for a friend who suffers from MS and having a catheter bag is brand new to her. Since her hands are affected also, she was having a terrible time with the bags provided by her doctor because the emptying nozzle was similar to the kind on an Elmer's Glue bottle. It had to be turned to open and close and it often leaked. After a day or so, it would lock up and even a pair of pliers couldn't get it to budge. But the nozzle on THESE bags are as simple as flipping a light switch. She has had no problem now and I would recommend them most highly to anyone. Since the nozzle is so easy to use, they last twice as long as the other kind. This is a great weight off her mind and when you are suffering from MS, anything that makes the day easier is a blessing.

Bags stick to leg. Would be nice if they had a cotton backing.

Work great for me.
Bags came exactly as described online. Excellent drain valve and bag size. My only issue deals with leaks. I am one of those who tries to get maximum wear from each bag and wears it for a longer period of time than the manufacturer recommends. Over that longer period of time a leak will develop beside the shutoff valve.in a seam. Throw it away at that point and put on another bag! Otherwise, they work great. Will reorder again.

Not a long lasting bag
They tend to fold at the top. I should have ordered a heavier one

Great to have extra on hand.
By having extra on hand, I can keep up with cleanliness - great price. If I could change anything it would be the length as they tend to buckle in the middle unless you fasten them below the knee. Doing self-care at home it makes more sense to buy the best quality for the money and not run up insurance rates with the skim that the doctors offices charge. That is why our rates are so high in this country - everybody is on the take. For this price range, I don't have to let them use us to drain the system.
