i read this whole manga in one sitting, it was phenomenal!
this manga is absolutely amazing, i had to take a breather after finishing the manga in one sitting! the seemingly normal slice-of-life story became something totally morbid, it was so good i couldn't stop reading! the artwork is phenomenal, the art really helped set the tone and mood for the story. i totally recommend this manga to anyone who's considering buying it. it was amazing and i can't wait to get the second book!

Thrilling read!
I’ve been very interested in trying out Shuzo Oshimi’s work, and this happened to be the first one I decided to try. The cover art is stunning and really drew my interest, but the premise of the manga is also very intriguing. This was such a quick and easy read and I felt myself on the edge of my seat with every turn of the page, which NEVER happens to me. With what happened in this volume, I can’t wait to see how crazy this story gets. I’m a fan!

Great suspenseful and creepy story.
A great start to this series that very effectively establishes strong disturbing and suspenseful vibes through both the writing and the haunting images of the doting mother. My only minor complaint is that the publisher hasn't optimized the Kindle version which does hurt the impact of the double page spreads.

Unsettling Series Starter
A quick, uncomfortable read, even if, at first, you can’t quite put your finger on what makes everything seem so off. Then a shocking moment of violence results in more questions. I can’t wait to pick up the sequel and see what happens to Seiichi and his mother.Content warning for death of a cat.

WOW!! Incredible experience!
Had no idea what to expect. NO SPOILERS!!! But I must tell you that the ARTwork is sublime; strong, evocative, expressive, Visually rich and emotive. The font size is large and easy to read. The experience of reading this book is powerful. There’s an Undertow that pulls the reader in. Please, don’t hesitate. Don’t wait. Treat yourself to this manga. I’m very pleased I took the chance. I want more manga like this. I look forward to the next volume.

Really interesting and not a typical story taking me by surprise
A very unique story, I’ve read a lot of manga and I haven’t quite come across a story like this. I’d still like to know where it’s going, I was surprised and wish I had more chapters to read after this was over. It’ll be really interesting to see where this is going; a lot of symbolism and deeper messaging within the artwork itself. Recommended for an older more mature audience who will pick up these subtle cues. Check it out! If you have the discipline you might wanna wait to read it until you have book two so you don’t have to stop, I thought about it saving it but I couldn’t help myself. Unfortunately that’s the one thing about reading in progress story’s is you’re always left waiting and wanting more, happy I checked it out though and will be buying more.

Uncomfortable feeling
This is a fantastic series, as you can expect with Shuzo Oshimi it makes you feel uncomfortable whilst reading. The overall story is about a mother and son, I don't want to say anymore than that. There's very little text in this manga so you'll finish it in about 15mins. But it'll keep you turning pages and you'll cringe whilst doing so. Brilliant

LOVE IT
I own more than 300 manga and none of them I enjoyed more than 'blood on the tracks'. It's psychological horror, my favorite genre, which I do not see enough manga of. Love it! It's confusing, it's emotional, it's hooking and a real page turner! The only downside is that the price is pretty expensive for it not even having much text...
